I can understand the pain of the haters, as Samsung has made the perfect phone in 2023. Some can't just accept the fact that Samsung made the best phone in history and that it hasn't got any weak points. Even GSMArena staff says it in the review!!!
The improvement over the S22 Ultra is enormous. So that's why Samsung haters hate it so much, because it crushes out the chinese garbage like Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo... which are inferior in most if not all aspects!!! Inferior brands can compete for the 2nd and 3rd ranks. The S23 Ultra is the king of 2023 ;)
Let's compare the Samsung S23 Ultra (king of phones) with the Vivo X90 Pro Plus (they are not even comparable as the S23 Ultra is much better) but it seems that for haters and chinese garbage lovers it's their most beloved phone:
1. Vivo's 1080p 32mpx mediocre front facing camera vs Samsung's 4K HDR10+ front facing camera, which it has half the megapixels but the quality is immensely superior.
2. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 coating on the S23 Ultra vs a fake cheap "leather" coating on the Vivo, without even mentioning how ugly it is with that enormous and bulky circular sensor.
3. The Samsung has a far superior main camera, with 200mpx getting many more details, extremely superior video, extremely superior Dynamic Range, extremely superior exposure, superior night photography and overall color accuracy - the Vivo lacks so much in cameras.
4. Samsung has a proper RAW app that can let you even take astrophotography photos. The video stabilization is on another level. Vivo shakes so much like mid-range phones do.
5. Real x3 and x10 optical zoom, their telephoto lens CRUSH Vivo's mediocre 3.5x zoom.
6. Superior screen with much better calibration and 200 nits superior manual brightness.
7. Much superior sound both with the built-in internal speakers and external BT sound, Vivo allows just 24/192kHz sound, Samsung supports 32/384kHz real Hi-Res audio LOL
7. The Samsung can go up to 1TB of storage, their storage is as well faster.
8. The battery of the Samsung is quite better, having about 20-30% more SoT hours, for the Vivo you need a charger and a nearby plug if you want to use your phone all day long lmao.
9. Samsung's UI is so superior that it's not even worthy to compare them as Vivo gets ashamed, with that crappy Chinese UI, filled with bloatware, extremely late updates, bugs and lots of incompatibilities if you want to use it outside of China, like with Android Auto.
10. Samsung DeX and so many unique features Vivo can only dream about.
11. The ultrasonic fingerprint is actually better on Samsung, Vivo uses the older 2022 version
12. Samsung updates your phone (and fast) for 5 years, Vivo/BBK 2-3 years at most, and they arrive late, even European Oppo's got Android 13 like 3 months after the S23 Ultra lol.
13. Much better future price for the Samsung compared to the Vivo
14. UWB support for the Samsung, 0 for the Vivo
15. 3 sim support for the Samsung, including the modern eSIM = NO from Vivo
16. Superior performance, slightly better processor (clock speed) and faster memory
17. Armored aluminium frame, vs Vivo's cheap and chinese-specifical frame
18. S-Pen on Samsung which opens a new league of capabilities. 0 stylus on Vivo.
19. The Samsung can take extremely good Macro photos up to 1-2cm close to the subject, the Vivo loses it's AF and gets all blurred out if the subject is at 10cm or less. Shameful.
20. Much better build quality, internal quality and a proper QC unlike the Vivo.
And I can continue... Vivo can be okay competing with other inferior chinese brands like Xiaomi or Oppo, but they are so far behind Samsung that trying to compare them just makes it laugheable. These are real life facts. IT'S UNDENIABLE!!!

Tdepp, 19 Feb 2023You seem like taking it personal on behalf of Samsung. Calm... moreSamsung, the N°1 best selling brand in the world over the past 10 years, that sells more than Vivo, Oppo, OnePlus, Huawei and Honor together, that has the only high end non-Apple smartphones in the top 10 premium phones sales, that had the lowest decrease of Android brands sales in 2022, according to you is on the path of Sony going to extinction, right?
Wtf u write lmao it really doesn't even make sense. I smell tons of jealousy of china reps and new accounts coz the S23 Ultra is the king of 2023 and it gave a big slap to all its competitors.
PS: All chinese brands are garbage compared to Samsung!

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2023Do folders also have their original date and time stamps on... moreNo idea about the folders. It's extremely rare that I ever look at a folder on a cell phone. Since the content I need is stored in specific folders. So the only thing I might do is just make sure the content is being uploaded. Since any app I use on the phone just accesses the content it needs.

MickInTheHamlet, 18 Feb 2023Hello,
I’ve have been a user of Samsung Galaxy Note 1, Not... moreI just received the galaxy s23 ultra on Friday 2/17/2023. I'm very disappointed Samsung, I have a note 10 plus and it's seem like there damn similar and heavier than my old note 10. So I asked myself, to willing spend 1k for the new phone ultra but there are nothing features convince myself to keep this new phone. Samsung need provided extra features and better idea to sell high end cellphone or soon you will get dominate by Chinese brands. I missed Nokia, always have their own path to move forward not like Samsung, always follow or copy Apple foot step. I'm a fan of Android and Samsung Note, but last couple years Samsung phone is let me down.
Bad side of Samsung.
Cost price 1k, only provide 1 USB c cable
Heavier phone. No extend micro memory card slot
Same features or similar spec compare last year.
We don't use new phone 2023 compare old year iPhone 2022.
S pen don't have color match with color phone.
Conclusion: Samsung will far behind to Chinese phone manufacturers, Samsung don't have a chance to compare with Apple and maybe we can comapre to middle end chinese brand.

Hello,
I’ve have been a user of Samsung Galaxy Note 1, Note 3, Note 4, Note 7 (not for long…), Galaxy S7 Edge, Note 9 512 Gb/12Gb Exynos, Note 10+ 512Gb/12Gb Exynos and S22 Ultra 1Tb/12Gb Exynos. I wish I hadn’t bought the S22 Ultra. Multitasking is poor due to multiple lags which I never experienced on my Note 10+, especially when the TV application is streaming. The camera performances are poor : as a teacher I need to scan pages from textbooks from time to time. The edges of pictures are blurry and the text is not sharp. The same goes for landscape pictures : blurry edges. Another issue I experienced last summer was the screen legibility under sunlight : I couldn't frame pictures as the screen was too dim. Not to mention the multiple bugs from some applications as well as the phone being slow switching from one application to another. As I bought the phone from Samsung.fr, I sent them the device for repair (the closest repair centre would have been a two-hour drive) The service was poor as I never was able to follow the repairing process online. The fixing was also poor : not only did nothing change as to the phone’s way of operating but a thread got stuck inside the periscope 10x zoom.
Huge disappointment for a Samsung user since 2011.
I’ve ordered the S23 Ultra 1Tb though because of the significant discount that was on until 16 February made the phone at a three-digit price and also because I didn’t see any blurry pictures on the 23 Ultra I had the opportunity to put my hands on.
What I’ve been missing out from my Note 10+ is the 52mm telephoto lens with f/2.1 aperture. This is the focal that got me my best pictures of the French Alps and Pyrenees. 26 mm focal length is too wide : mountains are too small in the pictures. Moreover, I’ve had enough of phone manufacturers making phones sporting wide focal lengths. I get the point : you can cram a lot of subjects into 24mm. But does that make the photo better ? Not to mention distortion in corners… I wish phone manufacturers put LOW APERTURE MULTI-ASPECT RATIO 35mm or 50 mm 1 INCH SENSORS on their phones…
Camerawise, I would have bought Vivo x90pro plus if the phone had been launched globally (don’t want to bother to get the phone from China with OriginOS and the risk of paying taxes from the customs). But I already know that Vivo’s 1 inch sensor (Well, Sony’s…) is way better than Samsung’s 200 Mpx sensor. Plus, the Vivo has 50mm and 90mm (only f/3.5 though) sensors that are also way better and bigger for taking pictures of landscapes than the Samsung’s tiny 3x telephoto sensor. Between 3x zoom and 10x zoom, the picture is a crop from the tiny 3x telephoto sensor. As a result the pictures lack definition.
Some say that Samsung’s processing is better than Vivo’s. That might be true… or not. But, let's suppose it was true, wouldn't that processing deserve bigger sensors ?
Well, a phone is not only about the camera performance : there are also aspects to regard such as audio (loudspeakers, microphones, aptx…), android skin, usability, etc. But I’m not sure Samsung is doing better than Chinese manufacturers in these fields. Maybe I’ll find out soon…
