So much advertising! So much advertisements! I used to have Note 20 Ultra with 108mp camera and telling you guys picture quality was so 12mp binning. Now that you have the s23 ultra 200mp with so much flowery advertisements I believe it's the same with the note 20 Ultra believe it or not up to you. Now Im using the fold 4 and what's the difference in the ui 5.0 between note 20 Ultra and s23 ultra and the fold 4? NOTHING! The Samsung UI remains the same BORING!! NOW that have using the galaxy fold 4 and the Infinix Zero Ultra with 200mp camera dude telling you I am contented cause I can put all the launchers that I wanted to my Infinix and the 200mp is real. I don't want that crap s23 ultra, and that's my last word. And who cares, so me too!

And I never buy a phone from previous year. I will skip S23 series and go for S24 serious. Always buy the newest one unless it is trash.

I've been a OnePlus customer since 2019 and finally took the leap to Samsung. I bought this as a choice between the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Vivo X90 Pro+, and the OnePlus 11. And boy am I impressed.
The display is second to none, Samsung truly make the number one panels in the business. Samsung were notorious for having extra crap on their phone and making their One UI slow and stuttery. Thankfully this is now not the case. OneUI 5 and the high end specs of the Ultra make the user experience really good. I have swapped the launcher for Nova and hooray, the Nova launcher 8.0.3 Beta now works with animations and swipe gestures on Android 13. The cameras on this phone have been excellent too so far. The only bug I have come across is there is no NFC symbol on the status bar when activated, that's all.
People who don't own this phone will bash it. That's their choice. As an Ultra 23 owner and someone who has had previous bad experiences with Samsung phones, I can say to go for this phone. Is it an upgrade for S22 Ultra owners? I would say no. But for anyone else, don't even think twice.
This could be the best phone you'll get.

I had S22 Ultra Exynos before, and I cannot believe the difference in battery life and camera - both are 5x times better.

I'm disappointed, i bought it yesterday and before i had xiaomi 12t pro and xiaomi camera is much better than s23 ultra and I really don't know how is this, only the camera but everything else is better than xiaomi.

Samsung laughing to customers and trick old Samsung have resolution more better and no cd storage and add extra price small time well reach 2.000 $ . For what only for small phone can't reach 3 inch by 2 inch something make you laugh laptop how much big with all electronics inside hem and big screen only reach same price phone . Now is not again who give better phone now is who get more money from customer

The battery life on the Samsung S23 ultra is amazing. It's on par with the iPhones 13 and 14 pro max. I got 10 hours screen on time with 5 percent battery life left. For reference, I subjected my iPhone 13 pro max when it came out as well to this same test and it also got 10 hours screen on time, but with 4 percent battery left. However, the S23 ultra is more impressive for the following reasons.
The screen of the S23 ultra is generally brighter than the iPhone and has more pixels to display yet managed the same battery life.
I did my iPhone test in December 2021 when the weather was really cold and barely any sunlight, so the screen brightness was hardly high when outside. However, during the test of the S23 ultra, we had lots of sunshine and when outside, the phone brightness was at its highest and it impacted on the battery significantly, however it still got stellar battery life at the end.
Another factor to consider is the 120hz between the iPhone and Samsung. I love my 13 pro max, but I am sorry, the screen refresh rate was never at 120hz. It was more like 70-80hz to be honest. The 13 pro max feels slow compared to the blazingly fast 120hz on the S23 ultra which I believe uses more power.
I absolutely abused the S23 ultra and it just refused to die. Played games, used Google map whilst driving, took a lot of pictures, videos, browsed on the internet, watched youTube videos, netflix etc. I also tested the standby capability. It's all stellar. I believe as the phone adapt to my usage, the battery would get better.
I am just really impressed with the phone and think Samsung has finally found a winner here.
My 13 pro max have been relegated as my secondary phone now.
