You said you let it dry for an hour, I aint as well versed in orgo as you seem to be, but does that mean you're storing this damp or dry? Any handling risks you are inherently wary of?

I meant baked at 60C for an hour to dry completely. My bad. It has to be stored dry. Risk wise, keep it away from sunlight, flammable and heat source. Nitrocellulose deflagrates instead of detonates so it's not explosive unconfined by its own.
