Process:
150ml Liquid fire drain opener
70g Ammonium nitrate (1 bag of Rite-aid instant cold pack
5 triple size cotton balls nitrated for 3 hours, Neutralized using baking soda wash, baked at 60C for 1 hour to dry.
It's nitrocellulose. Cotton balls are almost pure cellulose and the nitration is pretty much complete. You can see the end result dissolves in acetone completely.
