Is this more confusion about market cap fluctuations being the same as company revenues and costs?

How is it even remotely possible for Amazon to lose money? I won't believe this without source.

I'd sleep well about it if I didn't know that this corporations in the country socialize their losses and privatize their gains.

Netflix is enforcing its password sharing policy in Canada now. My parents, me, and my two siblings were sharing an account together (all living in separate areas), but now we have to pay extra just for the same service we were getting before. What's worse is Netflix limits the extra people to two per account (at $8 CAD extra per person), so we can't even possibly all share an account together anymore. So somebody else would still be on the hook for another account. At minimum they have to pay $6 CAD a month to watch with bullshit ads, and you can't even get 1080p without paying $16.50 CAD a month. Nobody I know is opting in to pay the extra $$$. All the people my age (20s) who use their parents accounts don't care enough about Netflix to pay for it, and some parents I know were only holding onto the account because their kids used it. I don't know why Netflix thought this was a good idea, it seems like a great way to convince people to finally give up Netflix and use other streaming services.
