[Ren'Py] - Succubus Trick: Grown Up Problem [v0.5.4] [aPieceOfTissue]

The game started as a light-hearted harem game nearly a year ago. I wasn't overly thrilled about the sandbox, but what can you do? The Story was always a tad simple but well-executed. The renders are fine or even great, and the animations were more than up to par.

You will ask why only one star if everything is so far above average.
The answer is simple the Dev played the long con. He did it for nearly a year, which deserves some respect. I wouldn't put that much energy into a prank. In the last update, the dev dropped unavoidable netorare and cheating into our lap and changed the tone of the whole game out of nowhere.

So 1 star Because I can respect the dev's tenacity, even, if sadly nothing else.

Great game.. i've played many games with illusion renders, but this one giving me a cool breeze for the animation.. giving it 10/10... the angle, the renders... you named it... theres nothing i can complain about it..

the storyline is simple, but hey.. sometimes simple is best... in my opinion gameplay like this is the most entertaining than having a complex story board.. it's easy to understand and to imagine the future of this game...

Excellent game so far! I have a few nitpicks that I'll go over in a bit, but I'm very positive about this game so far.

The models are pretty good. The animation is good (I especially like the stomach bulging). The story is definitely trite, but well executed. The characters are likable and fun. And so on. I like that a lot of the adult game tropes are being contextualized as "Succubus powers". You weren't just born with a monster cock, you were given one with succubus magic. Woman are able to enjoy/survive having sex with such a giant dick because of succubus magic. Women are instantly swooning over your giant dick because of succubus magic. You get the point.

There is also quite a bit of content considering how early into development this is, so I'm impressed with that.

Now onto the nitpicks.

• I assume the dev is not a native English speaker. Regardless of if they are or not, they desperately need someone to proof-read their script before they release their updates. There are quite a few little errors in the dialogue. They are never terrible mistakes, but they are common enough to be noticeable.
• The UI could use some tweaks. It would be nice to be able to skip to the next part of the day without having to sleep in your bed (weekends) or attend classes/eat lunch (weekdays). And having a map to navigate would be better than what we have right now. It's frustrating at times to have to wake up, go to living room, go to school, attend class, go to rooftop, eat lunch, go home, and eat dinner just to get to a night time event. Having a map and being able to skip time with an icon at the top of the screen would alleviate both problems.

TLDR;
This game is very fun and very sexy. It has some issues, but nothing a proof-reader and a couple QOL patches wouldn't fix. It's worth your time.

a succubus contracts with you and now you get a harem to feed her. while the plot is not new the execution is quite fantastic. I enjoyed the dialog and the sex scenes a lot more than I usually do. There is no money nor stats to grind, and the girls are wonderfully thicc. About the only drawback I could give is that it uses 3d instead of hand drawn 2d, and even that is mitigated by the animation.

This game is amazing. So many scenes already compared to games that have been out for literal years. And it doesn't pussy foot around and circle jerk the story to intentionally avoid the "main cast" and instead actually finishes the main cast while still leaving it open for future additions on top of also opening it cleanly to work on other characters.

If this game gets signatures, it's definitely replacing one of my current ones.

succubi has distinct characteristics.
Summoning room is a nice feature to add more succubus.
Overall the game is sucessfull in showing all the Succubi has to offer

If I were a game developer, I surely work on with nearest perception. Graphs + models are way too good. I hope its gonna take a huge supporting, considering the ongoing effors

"Shows Great Promise for a 0.2 build. the real stand out was the night time scene was pretty alright. and when this is a first time dev trust me with KK, Night time scenes can be pretty rough. the models all look hot too, even the guy. and above average script writing has me looking forwarded to the next update, lets see how fast he can, five star demo" - man with too high of hope

I still stand by my previous review, for when replaying it I did truly enjoy the prolog. Then when the sand box starts, The writing went to shit. And I am not exaggerating when I say the average porn hub video has more plot. this is the plot after the prolog, Handjob, Handjob, BlowJob, Blowjob, titfuck, titfuck, mutual masterbation, mutual masterbation, 69, 69, missionary, missionary. Thats it there basically no more to those scenes than just porn. which fair I like busting nuts too. It's just that the porn is shit too.

It is very evident that he just downloaded a bunch of stock scenes for each sex act and Ctrl + V them in. the dev makes you play each animation twice and if you don't read the words you could not tell if it was the first or second time. not that you want too look at the animations because he didn't change anything, not evening to fix bad clipping or bazaar boob physics.

TL;DR I was disappointed in the now lack of plot, and the porn was lazy and shoddily implemented. warped in a very boring dry sandbox, were you cant even do anything during the weekend.

Simple story that I have seen too many times by now. It works so that won't change my score very much. However, proofread your work. The game has 8 minutes of playtime, and is already filled with errors everywhere. The sandbox features as well as the UI feel basic. It might be better to focus on that before adding more content.
