Infinity Pool, is the new body horror thriller from the son of the great David Cronenberg, renowned Canadian film director, and screenwriter, classified within the group called 'the three C' of contemporary horror cinema. The cast includes Jalil Lespert, Thomas Kretschmann, Amanda Brugel, Caroline Boulton, and John Ralston.
In addition to directing, Cronenberg also wrote the script for the film along with Karen Ella Harnisch, Andrew Cividino, Noah Segal, and Christina Piovesan.
The minority co-production of Infinity Pool was filmed in the Amadria Park complex in Šibenik, Croatia. The film is a Canadian-Hungarian-Croatian co-production, with Anita Juka as co-producer representing Croatia. In addition to Juka, other co-producers on this project include Daniel Kresmery and Jonathan Halperin (Hero Squared), with Karim Hussain returning as cinematographer, having been on Cronenberg's 2020 look-alike film Possessor.
"We are especially pleased that this is the first feature film co-production between Canada and Croatia. I am confident that this collaboration will promote other projects between both countries and promote further growth in international collaborations with us", stated the producer in an interview with the Audiovisual Center of said nation.
