Evaluation Criteria
Listed in order of the total buffs each general has, from highest to lowest.
(Attack, Defense, and HP of the 4 type of troops buffs are added together.)
Two types of ranking
Each general’s performance depends largely on his ability to maximize the 4 specialties. And it is difficult to maximize all 4 unless you are a heavy payer. (Reference : Specialty Guide)
Therefore, the ranking is divided into two categories: without specialties and with specialties.

- Mainly for F2P (Free to Play) or players who pay a little.
- Ranking B) Basic skills + Specialty
- Mainly for players with heavy payer.

Do skillbooks cancel each other out with Defense Generals (Wall), like they do for PvP Main & Assistant Generals? So if I have Leo III with Siege Range Bonus, Ranged Range Bonus & Siege Attack, would I put the same skillbooks or different ones on William Marshall? Like maybe Ground Troops Speed, Mounted Troop Speed, Mounted Def or HP or Ground Def or HP?
If I make David Farragut an Assistant General will his debuffs be in effect?

Assistant Generals Guide
is defense wall general need to be equiped? also with assistant general
In the Beginner’s Guide to the Duty Officer, it states, “In order to be stronger in a defense battle, the equipment and stats of the defense general needs to be better, but improving that of the duty officer has no effect on the battle.” This is stated in the guide.

First of all, I am learning and empathizing a lot on your site. I have a question because of Yodo-dono. The battle report shows that the siege machine hunts a lot. However, when archers attack, defenders’ archers often can hardly hunt. There are many archers in the first attack, but in this case, isn’t it right to strengthen the ground troop? I wonder when the defender’s archer attack will begin.
If using William Marshall as assistant general for defense with Leo as main defense general; Marshall is not the main defense general; so, do his basic skills activate?

Why does Basil II not feature on your assistant defence general list?
This is because most of his buffs are disabled when he is a wall defender. (Most of them are marching buffs.)

I had thought that, as you say his buff would not apply, but when he is attached as an assistant the buff is not disabled. Is this a bug, and even though it’s still showing as active it doesn’t actually work, or is it that it’s effective but as he’s not marching it just doesn’t work?
