One of the most famous villains in Marvel comics due to his quirky design, a giant floating head, is MODOK. He will finally make his MCU debut in 'Ant-Man 3'.
Although it is not known if he will be Kang's right-hand man or part of some faction against Kang within the Quantum Realm, it is known that he will fight against Ant-Man and his family.
It is even known that Corey Stoll will play MODOK., the same actor from Darren Cross/Yellowjacket in the first film and who was defeated by shrinking to a subatomic level, so it is almost certain that MODOK. is Cross himself.
The second trailer shows Kang's motivations and threat to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd, who appears in the movie 'Clueless,' which you can watch on ViX+).
In several scenes, you can see that in the Quantum Realm, there is a huge army, much larger than Thanos' in 'Avengers: Endgame' and that escaping will surely be what the Avengers will have to face in the future.
Kang almost certainly won't die in this movie and will manage to escape the Quantum Realm. Thus would begin his conquest of the multiverse and the events that led to the 2025 film 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.'
Although after the battle against Thanos and the return of half the population, Scott Lang is a celebrity with everything, and his podcast of him, the Avenger, is not complete as far as his personal life is concerned.
Scott didn't see his daughter grow up because he lost five years of being trapped in the Quantum Realm when Thanos used the Infinity Stones, but it seems Kang has a way of manipulating time to give the Avenger those years back.
From what is shown in the trailer, Scott agrees to work with Kang, although it is evident that the villain does not fulfill his part of the deal, and both have an epic fight in which everything seems to indicate that Ant-Man will sacrifice himself.
Although a glimpse of Bill Murray in the film was given in the first trailer, his character was not 100 percent confirmed, but the synopsis released with the new trailer finally confirmed his character.
The synopsis shared by Marvel explains what was seen in the trailer about Scott's family's adventure in the Quantum Realm and the characters that will be there, including Lord Krylar (Bill Murray).
Skylar in the comics is a minor character; he even debuted and only appeared once on the pages of 'The Incredible Hulk' in 1962; he was also a villain in the series 'Agents of SHIELD.' So the importance of him the movie is still a mystery.

Limbo has likely been sucked into the Quantum Realm of the MCU. Each block of Chronopolis stretches to the ends of the Earth in a different period. The architecture contains a series of easter eggs: the Kang variant called Pharoah Rama-Tut and the ten rings of Shang-Chi, among others.
Kang offers Scott a deal: if he helps him in some strange way, he will rewrite history to give him a second chance at life, one in which he can avoid the mistakes that separate him from his family.
It's possible that Kang's offer hides another subplot, that Scott has major health issues and wishes to correct them. The movie's villain has the power to alter reality and break entire timelines at will, so he can fix whatever Ant-Man wants.
There's a strange juxtaposition in the Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania trailer, which transitions from exploring the quantum realm to flashbacks to Scott's life. This could be a mysterious nexus of memories that influences our hero's decision.

The new advance of the film released on February 17 finally shows who will be the villain of this new phase, Kang. I already fell in love with Jonathan Major's fantastic work as the MCU's next great antagonist during his brief appearance in the Loki series, and it's looking better and better. For his part, Paul Rudd's Ant-Man finally abandons the role of the group's clown that he had had until now to adopt a more superheroic tone, which he also missed a lot.
As icing on the cake, the trailer offers us a brief look at MODOK. in the definitive version of him for the MCU. We had seen the endearing big-headed villain in the comedy series for Hulu, but his arrival in the real image of the Marvel Universe was long overdue. All in all, it's a good idea to take the character's arrival with some caution because it wouldn't be unusual for Marvel Studios to have added it only as a cameo and palmetto shortly after appearing. He's already been through something similar with Shuma-Gorath, the tentacled demon that Stephen Strange fights at the beginning of Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, and who hasn't gone beyond being a mere casual appearance as a secondary monster.
Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania will set the stage for the conflict in The Kang Dynasty, and this trailer sets the tone for it. In addition to Rudd and Major, the film stars Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfieffer as Janet Van Dyne, and Kathryn Newton as Scott Lang's daughter Cassie. The film is directed by Peyton Reed, the same director of the two previous Ant-Man installments.
In addition to the action scenes in the Quantum Realm, the most disturbing is the one in which Scott Lang seems to sacrifice himself to save his daughter and loved ones. Be that as it may, if things end up being tragic, Ant-Man could say goodbye to the U.C.M. and even more so when he says that he doesn't need to win but that they both "need to lose," implying that he is willing to do anything to prevent the invasion. Of Kang.
Scott Lang's single sentence hints at the self-sacrifice to defeat Kang and then sparks an even more intense threat to the future when it is revealed that a variant of Kang is still alive and potentially succeeds in his plan.
Killing an Avenger like Scott would make Kang the right threat to the other Avengers. The villain would get off on the right foot by getting a body early and proving he's a credible threat.
Then again, all of this is so present in the trailer that he could end up being someone else who dies during the movie. Someone needs to break, and Scott in Kang's hands would be wild enough to impact the audience.
It's a month away from the big premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Time is ticking fast in 2023, and fans are increasingly eager to see what will be the first Marvel movie of the year and Phase 5. Everything will be heading towards a great new threat after this installment, a reason that has the franchise fans very aware of what will happen. With the release of the second trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is just around the corner. Marvel is intensifying the push towards The Avengers: The Kang Dynasty from 2025. The trailer says it and everything.
At first glance, it might not seem like Quantumania is the Marvel movie with the power to kick-start the Multiverse Saga. The two previous films of the character were of little importance to the MCU. As the official start of Phase 5 and the first film to feature Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror, Quantumania may be what the MCU needs to regain momentum.
Let's take a closer look at why Quantumania is shaping up to be so much more than just another Ant-Man sequel and why the Multiverse Saga will ultimately kick off around Marvel's smaller superhero family.
Quantumania's biggest draw is undoubtedly the fact that it features the first film appearance of Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror. Majors had already appeared as another version of Kang (the strange hermit of time known as the One Who Remains) in the season one finale of Loki, but this will be our first glimpse of the classic incarnation of this great Marvel villain. Presumably, this is the Kang who will play a recurring role in the MCU in the build-up to 2025's Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
That makes Quantumania a very important piece of the Multiverse Saga's great puzzle. The previous two Ant-Man movies featured small-scale conflicts and villains seeking personal gain rather than world domination. But in Kang, we have a character who sees himself as the rightful ruler of his own time. Quantumania is sure to reveal a lot more about its long-term goals and how it all connects to the Quantum Realm, which has been a key element of this saga.
Kang is the Multiverse Saga's answer to Thanos. But the key difference is that we'll see much more of Kang in the run-up to The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars than we did of Thanos before Infinity War. He Who Remains already had more screen time in Loki than Thanos did in Phases 1 and 2. We'll no doubt meet at least one other version of Kang in Loki season two, and there's room for even more Kang in the future. Projects like Fantastic Four.
This shows that Quantumania is central to the MCU in a way that none of its predecessors were. If you found Phase 4 needing more direction or momentum, let's hope that will be okay for much longer.
Post-Endgame, the MCU has divided its attention between establishing new heroes and exploring how the old guard navigates a post-Snap MCU. Quantumania does both. The first trailer focuses a lot on Scott Lang enjoying his new celebrity, but we also know that his daughter Cassie will be dressing up as Stature for the first time. Quantumania is the first MCU movie to focus on three generations of heroes, as Hank Pym and the recently released Janet van Dyne are also key players.
In many ways, Quantumania crystallizes the big themes of Phase 4. Having saved the literal universe from destruction, where do you go next? How can a younger generation hope to live up to that impossible example? And how can the heroes robbed of five years with their loved ones make up for what was lost?
This last question is at the heart of Scott's character arc in Quantumania. It is about a father who has missed out on much of his daughter's childhood, either because he was imprisoned or because time moved forward while he was trapped in the Quantum Realm. One of the most heartbreaking moments in the MCU comes when Scott returns home to Snap-ravaged San Francisco to see an almost unrecognizable Cassie answer the door.
According to Marvel producer Stephen Broussard, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be very important to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
In a press release, Broussard compared the third Ant-Man movie to the two Captain America sequels: The Winter Soldier and Civil War, due to their importance in the MCU: "We're talking about movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which saw the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it seemed like the entire MCU revolved around that. Captain America: Civil War was another film that saw the heroes divided into factions and battle lines drawn; it seemed like the future of the MCU was going to be defined by the action of that movie. We liked the idea of making this Ant-Man movie so important and integral to the MCU going forward."
Remember that Ant-Man 3, which will hit theaters on February 16, will be the movie that kicks off Phase 5 of the MCU.
