The announcement today is small. Today, we begin a campaign of 200 flowers.
Previous censorship directives we're revoked, as it pertains to the Administration, free criticism and open discussion of perceived administrative faults on the non-meta boards is now permitted. Rule 10 will be revoked or revised depending on what is deemed necessary. While we have grown spectacularly in the last 4 months, it is only possible that this growth remains uninterrupted if the Administration does not rank among the users targets. We must be silent, in the background, and unoffendable. Thus, intentionally antagonizing the janitors is no longer an unwritten rule. Even discussion of illegal content and its posters will be allowed once more, so rule 2 will be removed, and the rule on advertising will be applied only in its most literal sense. Passing discussions of those websites will no longer be censored. Blatant advertising or promotion will however.
After some time has passed, the users will see that there is nothing they can do to arise any unorthodox reactions from the mods, and they will shift focus back to themselves and others, reducing the risk of administrative fracturing. The rules may be tweaked in light of this change so that they are less vague.

- creating an (optional) sharty theme for vichan, something unique to the site but not ugly or tacky. Every great imageboard has its own theme

The 'party, being one of the biggest and certainly one of the most culturally influential imageboards in the world nowadays, is the battleground between multiple warring factions trying to see who can force themselves in the hardest. This war has been going for a while and will never stop. Every group or individual wants to pitch in and see if they can immortalize themselves or their creations by successfully forcing it. Most fail, but some are persistent, and some are malignant or evil. It is not my job to dictate the winners and losers of individual battles, but to prevent any overarching winner from becoming a hegemon, a tumor that forces out everyone else. This is my job.

As you know, I have as promised, restructured the boards. Cutting down from 23 to just 5. /incel/ and /suggest/ became /q/, an all-encompassing meta, drama, namefag, and more board. A /g/ - generals board was created to house all the other smaller boards generals into one larger one, almost every other board was merged into /qa/, and the 3 biggest non /soy/ boards, /int/, /b/, and /pol/ were merged into /bant/, where ID's and flags are still enabled.
This was mildly unpopular, but necessary, it will consolidate board activity into a handful of genuinely active boards, while /soy/ remains the undisputed giant. It also makes moderation easier, as well as finding threads about a topic your looking for.

I admire the DPRK. Patriotic, family centered, hard working. Their society is in perfect order, everything is in its place, it isnt chaotic. There are no riots, there is no social rot, their is no hatred among the countrymen, and they are shielded from modernity. They, unlike all others in this world, are not cynical, they are hopeful, their lives are peaceful. Every ill in the world does not effect them, it as if their world has gone on unperturbed for decades. No internet, no drugs, nature is unpolluted. Lambasted as hell on earth, their citizens are probably happier than their brothers below, whom suffer from the highest rates of suicide in the world and work themselves to death in terrible conditions.
