Missing, the fourth film in the saga starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin, is coming soon to the big screen with a new chapter in the complex love story between Tessa and Hardin.
This year Missing will land in movie theaters, the new film made by the creators of Searching, where social networks will once again be the main element in its plot development.
To whet your appetite, Sony Pictures has released the trailer in Spanish for Missing, which you can look at through the video we leave below.
Like its predecessor, the story of Missing will unfold through the devices' screens, offering us a particular perspective.
Thus, the film's plot revolves around June, a young woman who, when she goes to pick up her mother at the airport after spending a vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, neither she nor her partner show signs of life.
Trying to find answers about the mysterious disappearance of her mother, June's search is hampered by international red tape.
Stuck in Los Angeles, thousands of miles away, June uses all the technology to find her before it's too late.
However, the deeper he searches for her, the digital investigation of her raises more questions than answers in a tangled mystery. When June reveals secrets about her mother, she realizes she never really knew her.

The cast of Missing is made up of Storm Reid (The Last of Us, The Nun 2, One Way), Nia Long (People Like You, My Two Lives, The Banker), Amy Landecker (Minx, Three Months), Ken Leung (Time, Industry), Thomas Barbusca (The Girl Who Had It All, Blessed Adolescence) and Lisa Yamada (We Are Dead, The Sound of Magic).
Joaquim de Almeida, Tim Griffin, Megan Suri, Tracy Vilar, Jill Remez, Karina Noelle Castillo, Rick Chambers, Michael Segovia, Rita Rucker, Jameel Shivji, Marcello Padilla, Daniel Henney and Jalil Jay Lynch complete the cast.

Searching was one of the great surprises of 2018 since, with a tiny budget, it managed to raise more than 75 million dollars worldwide, which has led to a sequel.
SEARCHING 2 advances its theatrical release for fear of being ignored at the box office because it shared the billboard with Cocaine Bear from Universal and Jesus Revolution; of Lionsgate. Both for their previous date, February 24, 2023. Therefore, the release date becomes January 20 of that same year.
The film has yet to be announced, for now, in Spain. But outside our territory, it is postulated as the next installment of the Searching franchise that will repeat when it comes to telling its story through screens. This new method, derived from false documentary and found footage; which would be like found footage on a tape, in addition to its history, managed to make the first installment a success in sales.
On this occasion, the film will star Storm Reid; known, among other roles, for playing Gia on the HBO series Euphoria, and Nia Long; an Actress recognized for having played Will Smith's girlfriend in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
This second part introduces new characters and will follow the same format. Everything will be presented through the screens of the respective characters. The script is in charge of Will Merrick and Nick Johnson, based on a draft by Sev Ohanian and Aneesh Chaganty, both producers.
The teaser includes behind-the-scenes footage showing how some things in the movie were made, like filming the cars. There are also some quotes from the actors, including Orlando Bloom, who will act in the film and promises us "vibrant sound" that will allow us to feel the races as if we were in the cars themselves.
It has also been pointed out that the film will focus on cars and have "action, drama, and a love story." It will follow the story of Jann Mardenborough, a teenage Gran Turismo player whose skills led him to win championships and become a professional driver.
Sony Pictures has Missing published a first advance (on these lines) about Missing movie directed by Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie). "It's a pleasure to talk to you about our Gran Turismo movie," explains Archie Madekwe, the film's protagonist. "It's based on a true story, packed with fast-paced action and drama. As its actors advance, Missing is based "on the life of Jann Mardenborough, a very young Gran Turismo player who, thanks to his video game skills, had a chance in an official Nissan competition and became a professional racing driver." Drew Barrymore isn't on our screens as much anymore, but the actress has now revealed that she'd be down to reunite with Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu for a new Charlie's Angels movie. Speaking with People about his upcoming projects, Barrymore addressed Mindy Kaling's recent suggestion that he should return to the franchise.
"Those are interesting challenges because they have been established. That builds on something," she said. "There's so much history there that they don't feel like [the work of] making movies. It's like, 'Do you want to spend your life doing that? With those people?' Yes. I would show up. I really would."
In the same interview, Missing, Barrymore also shared his interest in teaming up with Adam Sandler again after co-starring in 50 First Dates, Blended, and The Right Guy.
Barrymore Missing would be looking to tap into that nostalgia factor, and as the producer of the original movies, there's a good chance she could reunite with her co-stars. The first film of the adaptation of the famous television series of the 70s with Barrymore as the protagonist along with Lucy Liu and Cameron Díaz obtained 264 million dollars worldwide. Three years later, it had a sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, and despite the criticism, the film managed to gross 259 million dollars worldwide.
It must be Missing that the actress was also an executive producer of the attempted reboot in the form of a series for ABC in 2011. Still, it was canceled after episode 8, despite having 13 scheduled due to its low audience data.
