  1. On Wikipedia, deletionism has won against inclusionism because punchwords exist to label excess knowledge that is currently unneeded: "junk", "garbage", "trash".
  2. But no equivalent words exist to describe the lack of useful information when needed.
  3. Deletionists therefore have more power in policy debates, since deletionist ideas require fewer words to express.
  4. The reason deletionists have power starts with language.
