ただしJohn Griffinが同アニメ批判記事に関わったとはソースには書かれていません。そこは誤解無きようお願いします。

自分の推測では、この英文記事の見出しが不味かったんだと思います。
多分、whoはこの場合CNN、つまり組織を指し示していたと思うんですが、グーグル翻訳はguy、つまり男にかかると解釈するのが分かります。この誤解が、国内の一部まとめサイトにそのままスライドしたのかと

To be fair I'm sure japanese artists never used these tags while posting loli.
And irl shit was being posted in these tags that are supposed to be 2d only.
I will wait and watch what they will do about japanese accounts who post 2d loli.
