Issues with missing LTO drives after updating to Ventura, Monterey or Big Sur ?

YoYotta runs well on Apple Silicon Macs or Intel Macs.
TAR restore is only supported on Intel Macs. No support on Apple Silicon Macs
Any Mac running Big Sur, Monterey or Ventura will need software drivers for SAS and FibreChannel interface cards and Thunderbolt LTO drives.
Thunderbolt units have a SAS LTO drive inside, so they will need a SAS driver.

Issues with licensing on macOS 10.11 El Capitan ?

macOS 10.11 El Capitan is no longer updated and does not support LetsEncrypt SSL certificates.
These certificates are used by a large number of websites including YoYotta.
Your YoYotta license will continue to work, however you will not be able to log in to manage licences.
There is a fix available, details here.

SSL and macOS 10.11

We suggest that you upgrade your Mac to the newest macOS, ideally Monterey, Big Sur or Catalina.
