Ryuou ranking ranking · finals tournament
Overview
- All active chess players and 4 female players, 1 encouraging member, 5 amateurs will participate.
- Ryuou and the challenger will do seventh game. So the 4 players who have won 4 will be Ryuou .
- The winning prize is 44 million yen, the highest in the shogi world. In addition, the prize money of the loser of the seventh game is 16.5 million yen.
- All tournament games will be held.
- The holding time is 5 hours each. However, only 3 remaining hours (chess clock use) are left for the remaining determination game.
- Ryuou-sen will divide the participating players into six groups using the ranking of Ryuou-sen own unique ranking. The upper ranks of each class perform the final tournament, and the winner gains the challenge right.
- Female chess player and amateur will participate in six pairs. If we are promoted in 6 pairs the next period will be in 5 pairs.
- If you lose the tournament in the ranking game, you will participate in the loser recovery game (a contestant determination game in one pair, a promoter determination game in two pairs or less). However, losers in the finals will not participate. In addition, female chess players and amateurs can not participate.
Final tournament
- It is a tournament battle where 5 people from the ranking game, 5 from 2, 2 from 3, 4, 5 and 6 each participate.
- The arrangement of the tournament is automatically determined based on the results in the ranking game.
- The challenger decision match is the third game.
- If three or less participants challenge Ryuou , they will be promoted to a pair even if they lose with the seventh game.
Ranking game 1 pair
- In principle it is a tournament battle with 16 people. Ryuou-sen is done by a loser of the seventh game of Ryuou-sen , a loser of one pair, a promoter from two pairs.
- The first prize is 4.7 million yen and the second prize is 1.16 million yen.
- Two players in one group finals get the right to participate in the final tournament.
- The shogi player who was defeated by the semifinal will go around the contestant determination game. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th place of the contestant decision battle gains the right to participate in the final tournament.
Ranking game 2 pairs
- In principle it is a tournament battle with 16 players.
- The first prize money is 3.66 million yen and the second prize money is 940,000 yen.
- Two teams in the finals will get the right to participate in the final tournament.
- The shogi who lost by the semifinals will go around the promotion race. A total of four people, two from the finals and two from the winner of the promoter, can be promoted to one pair.
Ranking game 3 pairs
- In principle it is a tournament battle with 16 players.
- The winning prize is 2.61 million yen and the runner-up prize is 630,000 yen.
- Three pairs winner gains entry to the finals tournament.
- The shogi who lost by the semifinal will go around the promotion race. A total of four people can be promoted to two pairs, two in the final stage and two in the promotion decision winning team.
Ranking game 4 pairs
- In principle it is a tournament battle with 32 players.
- The winning prize is 2.09 million yen and the runner-up prize is 530,000 yen.
- One of the four winners gains entry to the final round of the tournament.
- The shogi who lost by the semifinals will go around the promotion race. Two finalists and two winners of the promotion race can be promoted to three pairs.
- If you lose in the first round and you lose in the first race of the promoter decision race, you will be in the remaining race. Usually you can win if you win once in the remaining battle.
Ranking game 5 pairs
- In principle it is a tournament battle with 32 players.
- The winning prize is 1.57 million yen and the runner-up prize is 420,000 yen.
- One of the 5 winners gains the right to participate in the final tournament.
- The shogi who lost by the semifinals will go around the promotion race. Two finalists and two winners of the promotion winning team can be promoted to 4 pairs.
- If you lose in the first round and you lose in the first race of the promoter decision race, you will be in the remaining race. Usually you can win if you win once in the remaining battle.
Ranking game 6 pairs
- It is a tournament game where one player and five other players and four female players, one encouraging member and five amateurs participate. There is no capacity.
- The first prize is 940,000 yen and the second prize is 210,000 yen.
- One pair of six winners gains entry to the final tournament.
- The shogi who lost by the semifinals will go around the promotion race. Two finalists and two winners of the promotion decision race can be promoted to five pairs.
