Cursor is a very simple character, with a mere seven attacks that it can use. As one might expect, it also has the ability to click and drag its opponents around. It might not have much, but it makes up for it with its small size and strong attacks. making it a surprisingly challenging fighter, yet it still only reaches mini-boss level at best.

Gameplay

Cursor uses all seven buttons, with X, Y and Z used for Normals and the Floor Stab move, A, B and C used for Specials, and Start used for the clicking ability. Cursor does not obey gravity and can move freely around the screen, but cannot block, run, crouch or jump.

As one would expect from Cursor, pressing Start while hovering over an opponent will allow Cursor to drag the opponent around. While this does no damage, it does completely freeze the opponent in a custom state, allowing Cursor to effectively nullify the opponent's ability to attack for as long as Start is held, making it a strange form of an Infinite.

Aside from this, Cursor only has access to a rather small move pool consisting of seven moves. Three of those moves are Normals, where Cursor jabs forward at the opponent. The fourth, Stab Suplex, is a good throw move and is Move cannot be blocked to boot. Drill Point has a long startup time, but can deal quite a lot of damage if it manages to hit the opponent. Floor Stab is good for catching opponents off-guard, as it very quickly homes onto the opponent's position before attacking, making it very difficult to dodge if the opponent doesn't see it coming. Finally, Uppercut Stab has a faster startup time than Drill Point, but does considerably less damage.

Cursor does not have a custom A.I., meaning it uses M.U.G.E.N's built-in AI. This means Cursor will move around the screen at random, occasionally using moves. While this might sound easy to beat, Cursor is rather small, and can potentially move into areas that the opponent might not be able to reach, especially for opponents that lack projectiles.
