ジェフ氏は「絵画からインスピレーションを得た」としており、それが認められた形に。日本でもちょっと前に他人の写真や絵を反転させたりして商用利用してたケースが話題となりましたが、これオッケーならその辺もオッケーになりそう。しかし張さんのこの作品良いですね。

まぁ、裁判には勝ったんでしょうけど、アーティストとしては終わりましたね。裁判官がどう判断しようと、世間が認めなければ誰もこの人の作品にお金を出そうとは思わないでしょう。

私も「作品が白人男性に剽窃されたこととが関係していないか」が気になりました。あとは、絵画ならわざわざブラ紐なんて描かないなーと思ったぐらいですが。

僕もデザイナーなのでクリエイターの端くれですけど、たとえパクってなくても、パクリって言われたらクリエイターとして負けですね。その作品を超えられなかったわけですから。

かなり前だが、日本画家さんがカメラマンの鳥の画像をトレースして院展だったかに出品して問題になったなあ。
元々日本画家としては有名な方で写真元にしても素晴らしい作品には仕上がっていた。（ダメだけど）
せめて画家として元の作品を超える位の矜持を持てば良いのに（ダメだけど）
