  1. In its donation banners, Wikipedia pretended to be for-the-people. An independent warrior of truth. In reality, Wikipedia has been **big pharma's li'l bitch.**
  2.
  3. For nearly two decades, Wikipedia advertised circumcision as healthy and harmless, like tobacco was advertised half a century earlier. The site administrators banned anyone trying to change it, and rigged the policies to only allow for pro-circumcision sources. Wikipedia has always been pro-pharma, not pro-people. If Wikipedia existed in the 1960s, it would have lied about the harmful effects of smoking. The *WP:MEDRS* (MÈRDE) policy would only have allowed "authoritative sources" that just-so happen to be pro-tobacco, and the administrators would have banned anyone who tried to state that cigarettes cause cancer. Although, there is one key difference between then and now: an infant is not able to opt out of circumcision.
