It’s Almost Three AM And I’m Blathering About My Difficulties In Using Social Media

“Hey, a buddy of mine is on Tumblr!”

“Oh boy they post a whole hell of a lot and it’s clogging up my timeline something fierce”

This is primarily my curse and not even slightly a gift.  If I follow and then immediately unfollow it’s because social media terrifies and intimidates me, not because I immediately lost interest in following.  See also: why I go weeks without posting on Tumblr.  I got thoughts but I don’t like to just shoot them out onto a website (except now at nearly three in the morning as I yatter to myself).

I used to be on Twitter.  Now I just go to the website for a handful of posters I find amusing/noteworthy without ever logging on.  I am not really a social media kind of person, but, well, you gotta be on something, and a website is more permanent/convenient than a chatroom for some things.

This post doesn’t have a real conclusion.  In my defense it’s late and I’m incoherent anyway.
