ほんまこれ…美竹公園の排除に反対するタグに「お前が面倒みてやれ」的なリプが付いてるの嫌というほど見たけど、この観点↓が丸っと抜け落ちてる人がこんなにも大勢いるんだなって怖くなったし、だからこその現状なんだな、とも思った…行政の責任であり仕事であるってことを自己責任論が覆い隠してる

そもそもホームレス状態の根本的な原因は政府の機能不全/環境問題/資本主義/格差/人種差別/障がい者差別/医療福祉等リソースの不足。
人間誰しもが健康で文化的な最低限度の生活の権利を有している。ホームレス状態は個人の責任ではなくシステムの責任。だからこそ自己責任に繋げる言葉遣いが危険。

One thing that strikes me about the making a mess at museums discourse is how many people seem to feel that all protest is supposed to appeal to them, feel good, or make someone like them want to attend an org’s next meeting. Sometimes you’re supposed to be uncomfortable.

it’s important to listen to music in languages you don’t understand. hearing words without any associated semantic meaning allows for appreciation of language on a purely rhythmic and sonic level. and then when you *do* learn the lyrics, you approach them with humility and care.
