Where are the "favorites" in the Mastodon app on android?

Włączone kosiarki i dmuchawy, zagrodzone wejście i dzień wolny od zajęć. Tak UP tłumi protest transpłciowych studentów
By najęci pracownicy mogli przez godzinę nie opuszczać wąskiego pasa zieleni przed głównym gmachem Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego i tym samym zagłuszać grupę protestujących, potrząsano nawet drzewami. Około 50 osób zebrało się przed UP, by zamanifestować swoją niezgodę na wycofanie się uczelni z wprowadzanych udogodnień dla osób transpłciowych.

Why do I need an account to see mastodon?
I've tried to access mastodon.social but it asks me to sign up. Why can't I just take a look without signing up?

Microblog.pub a minimalist ActivityPub server
Kinda nice that it is also accessible via Gemini it seems.

Various people are aware of my articles entitled "Jesus Is an Anarchist" and "The Physics of God and the Quantum Gravity Theory of Everything", among other articles published under my *nom de plume* of James Redford. Presented below are some of my writings posted on the Sissy School website discussion forum for male-to-female transgender people. A large portion of my creative and biographical writings are contained on the Sissy School forum, and this collection curates a number of such writings by me that I consider to be among the most interesting. * Jamie Michelle, "Jamie Michelle's Greatest Sissy School Hits", *Internet Archive*, Sept. 2, 2022, ark:/[13960/s26t45wxbtx](https://n2t.net/ark:/13960/s26t45wxbtx); also available [here](https://web.archive.org/web/20220903070356/http://jamiemichelle.freevar.com/Jamie-Michelle-Sissy-School.html) and [here](https://megalodon.jp/2022-0906-0146-52/jamiemichelle.000webhostapp.com/Jamie-Michelle-Sissy-School.html); download website: [here](https://archive.org/download/Jamie-Michelle/Jamie-Michelle-Biographical-Multimedia-2022-9-5.zip) and [here](https://files.catbox.moe/u7g266.zip). Now a decision has to be made for the future of SocialHub. The options are stopping, be just a forum, or revitalize a vibrant community. The last option needs people willing and committed to do so. To step up for the sake of Fediverse Futures.

CHOKEPOINT CAPITALISM
How Big Tech and Big Content Captured Creative Labor Markets and How We'll Win Them Back Authors:Rebecca Giblin,Cory Doctorow DescriptionPraise and ReviewsTable of ContentsReader Reviews A call to action for the creative class and labor movement to rally against the power of Big Tech and Big Media Corporate concentration has breached the stratosphere, as have corporate profits. An ever-expanding constellation of industries are now monopolies (where sellers have excessive power over buyers) or monopsonies (where buyers hold the whip hand over sellers)—or both. In Chokepoint Capitalism, scholar Rebecca Giblin and writer and activist Cory Doctorow argue we’re in a new era of “chokepoint capitalism,” with exploitative businesses creating insurmountable barriers to competition that enable them to capture value that should rightfully go to others. All workers are weakened by this, but the problem is especially well-illustrated by the plight of creative workers. From Amazon’s use of digital rights management and bundling to radically change the economics of book publishing, to Google and Facebook’s siphoning away of ad revenues from news media, and the Big Three record labels’ use of inordinately long contracts to up their own margins at the cost of artists, chokepoints are everywhere. By analyzing book publishing and news, live music and music streaming, screenwriting, radio and more, Giblin and Doctorow deftly show how powerful corporations construct “anti-competitive flywheels” designed to lock in users and suppliers, make their markets hostile to new entrants, and then force workers and suppliers to accept unfairly low prices. In the book’s second half, Giblin and Doctorow then explain how to batter through those chokepoints, with tools ranging from transparency rights to collective action and ownership, radical interoperability, contract terminations, job guarantees, and minimum wages for creative work. Chokepoint Capitalism is a call to workers of all sectors to unite to help smash these chokepoints and take back the power and profit that’s being heisted away—before it’s too late.
