Founded in Kyoto, Japan; the thirteenth Ashikaga Shogun granted a licence plate.
Edo period (1603-1868 CE)
It is said that only one other company distributed seed malt from the river to the Nada area and was engaged in the seed malt business.
latter half of the Meiji period
A number of seed malt suppliers other than the Company are born. The Company starts producing seed malt for soy sauce.
1952 (27th of July)
Awarded by the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the oldest established company in the industrial sector in the prefecture.
1965 (40th of July)
Toyozo Murai, third son of the Kyoto head family, becomes independent and sets up his post-independence base in Toyohashi, Aichi.
1970 (Showa 45)
Toyozo Murai becomes the 27th head of the family, following the closure of the Kyoto head office and the transfer of business from the head office.
1992 (Hei 02)
Bioc Inc. is established as a research and development-oriented company.
1993 (Hei 03).
Soichiro Murai becomes the 28th head of the family.
2003 (Heisei 13)
The company expands its operations as Bioc Ltd, and the current building and factory are completed at the present location.
2016 (Heisei 28)
Yuichiro Murai becomes the 29th head of the family.
2017 (Hei 29)
Amazake from Kojiya Sanzaemon is presented to the papal embassy.
2021 (Order 03).
RENEWAL OF THE E-COMMERCE WEBSITE IS LAUNCHED TO DEVELOP BUSINESS WITH CONSUMERS.
