Google Wallet gives an error saying my phone is rooted, which it is not, and tap-to-pay isn't going to work (not confirmed but I'll see).
Probably something to do with developer menu? Though it seems widespread anyway.

well I guess this seems to be a known issue (I knew it must be) and I didn't have to upgrade to Android 12/13, which I hate now.

@GooglePay wallet contactless payment problem fix; if anyone is having trouble with device not meeting security standards to use contactless payments, I turned usb debugging option off and also developer mode I turned both off , went on to Google wallet, and all works, 
also dislike the scroll bounce effect. It looks terrible

surrendered and upgraded Pixel 5 to Android 13 (Google Wallet complains that the OS is too old). Absolutely hate that they took away the power-hold menu for Wallet + Home.

this is with their 'medium' model and it's kind of amazing, much better than Google's Cloud speech-to-text.

whisper's 'tiny.en' works pretty well for English podcasts, but 'tiny' falls apart for Japanese tech podcasts - to me 'small' is OK-ish and 'medium' gives the roughly the same level for tiny.en

The default apparently was 'small' model. Switching to 'medium' model makes it even more accurate, though it takes about 3x more with Apple Silicon - where GPU is still not supported apparently - so it will take like 15 hours to transcribe 3h audio.

What does Twitter web do with Chrome to make crackling noise over headphones and BT earbuds? This happens both on Intel and M1 MacBook Pro.

Also keeps hearing a crackling noise when I scroll Twitter on Chrome (I know). This happens with every other headphones not just AirPods Pro so I'm sure this is a MacBook problem.

Still having the same issue with device auto switch from iOS to Mac. It just doesn't automatically switch back. From Mac to iOS is fine.

AirPods Pro 2nd gen first impressions:
- could be placebo but the mid-low sounds way better than the original Pro. I'm using the large size eartip and the sealing is good.
- love that the charging case is the same size, can use the same case-case.
