might be able to increase power for desktop CPUs, but it won't work for server processors, right? I don't wanna see 400W-class EPYC processors.

CPU 250W, GPU 450W, その他 150W、とすると定格運用でも 850W というわけのわからないことになる。もう家庭のコンセントには 200V 電源(+グラウンドの3ピン)を義務付けてほしい。効率も良くなるし。

Ryzen 7950X、性能すごいけど消費電力がすごすぎて、それでも電力効率は Intel と同等かそれ以上と言われても、ちょっと腰が引けてしまう。もうハイエンド CPU 空冷の時代は終わったなぁ。

シンデレラ読んでて、子ども向けの童話でも結構わからない単語が出てくるんだけど、馬車の御者に座る場所によって coachman (馬車に座ってる御者) と postilion (馬に座ってる御者) という別の言い方があるのがかなり衝撃だった。議会図書館のwebでタダで読めます。 read.gov/books/pageturn

MySOS の作りが相変わらずイマイチに感じる。一番目立つところが call to action じゃなくて空欄の係員仕様欄。確認が多い、パスポート情報を何回も入れさせられる。色が同じでどれがボタンかわかりづらい。住所が突然の「次のビルを除く」

ググればわかるじゃんと思うことも、誰かが Reddit 他の掲示板で聞いてくれるからググればわかるようになるわけで、本当に人に聞くのは大事にしたい。

さすがに現金 5% と MR 4% だと後者のほうが上だと思うけど、最近ちょっと自信がなくなってきた。

MR がいらないなら BCP もありかなと思ったけど、Custom Cash と 1% 差だと年会費の元が取れない。我が家の Amex Platinum 2枚布陣はちょっと過剰な気がして来たね... Disney+ は Plat 経由ですでにあるから... 関係ないけどTPG は "best grocery" で Custom Cash に触れないのでまじアフィ。

Chase Freedom Flex の 5% カレンダーが Grocery の時に、スーパーのギフトカードを買っておくしかないね

Chase に寄せると言っても、Amex の Return Protection が優秀で、返すかもしれない商品は Amex で買いたくなる。とりあえず円決済を CSR にするところからかなー。

そう思うと家賃で 1% ポイントが貯まって Hyatt に移行できる Bilt の破壊力はまじすごい。我が家最大の支出が家賃。でも今見たら決済ごとのポイントで $1 未満は切り捨てっぽいから、同じ $1 = 1pt なら家賃以外は Chase のほうが端数出なくていいな。

こうもサーチャージが高いと ANA マイルの旨味が少ないし、Amex 布陣再考しちゃうな。Chase は grocery が無いのが最大の弱点... レストランも航空券も(直接は) 3x だし。Chase のポータル、ポイント分高いって感じやしなぁ。

逆に考えるんだ、$300 の Marriott クレジットが無くなったから、Marriott ホテルでも Bonvoy Brilliant (6x) じゃなくて普通に CSR (3x) 出せばいいんだ。Chase UR のほうが Bonvoy の倍以上の価値あると思うんだよね...

Which is cheaper, $0.583/ounce or $6.000/0.5 pint?

I referred someone to my Mandarin teacher but it turns out the new student has Chinese parents and speaks Mandarin well. The teacher said to me, “you should study harder! You’ve got a new rival lol”
