Situation at Finland's borders has not changed with the announcement of Russian moilization. There are videos circulating on social media, at least some of which have already been filmed before and now taken out of context. There is incorrect information in circulation.

Everybody knows that Russians have been wanting out of Russia Since Putin's War and invasion against Ukraine started!
The fact that these videos exist is bad enough for Putin, when they were taken is irrelevant!

There's no big traffic jams but Finland is closing the border very soon, as the Baltic states did. Foreign ministry said today that border will be closed as soon as parliament can handle it. Very soon.

People can open Google maps and search the border between Russia and Finland and there are some which show 5-6 km traffic jam on the Russian side.

“When in doubt, keep ‘em out.” And the truth is, there should need to be a very, very good reason to allow any Russians into the EU now. And certainly not for tourism. This of course is a policy question, not an operational one. So please change the law, Finland. And fast.
