So what's the deal with this site? I was reading up on 4chan history, and next think you know I ended up on masterchan, and it's disgusting. So what's the deal -- are the 5-0 going to start knocking on my door?

Is this site down/dead and how long has it been like this? I've been trying to visit it and see what the hell the fuss is all about (some dude was shilling it on 4chan's /b/) and I've never been able to actually access it. Is the website actually down? I'm not asking about this sub. I've checked threads in this sub already and seen comments about how dead this sub is. I don't care. I just want to know if this site is even accessible in any way, or if its one of those weird sekrit clubs like sadpanda.

Been on the site a few times out of curiosity, am I fucked?

Never posted, only been on if maybe 5 or 6 times but Ive went through a lot of the boards to see what it was so hyped up for... can't say the people were wrong as I saw some pretty questionable things there on specific boards (I'm no pedo, but im not a pedo hater either so im not gonna condemn it)... soooo am I fucked?

Edit - I use a vpn usually before going on it for some safety if that is any lol

How the hell has this site not been taken down yet?

So some git linked mchan in the /b/ board of 4chan. I looked at it and holy shit... really not comfortable with some of that shit. How's it still even up? How have people who use it not been arrested or some shit?

How do I create an account?

I go to the account creation page, but it says the "captcha was incorrect" when I put in an acct name and password. The problem is I don't see any captcha.

It said it was down for maintence on tuesday I believe(it said so) but now there's a different message "The requested URL could not be retrieved

https://masterchan.org/v - Slow board, but it has more free speech than 4chan's /v/. All types of video game threads are allowed, the only rule? No shitposting.

https://masterchan.org/pol - Like 4chan's pol, except m00t doesn't mock or disrespect the users. Don't worry /pol/acks, this board will never get nuked.

https://masterchan.org/vg - This board is actually really well organized. The only strife I have is that we need more systems/games to discuss. It's a really good alternative to 4chan's /vg/
