sung, 22 Aug 2022Believe it or leave it 9 out of 10 uses androids in real life Even this site alone is a big... moreI got Iphone 12 as my daily phone and Samsung Note9 as media phone and bothe phones, both os are great. I don't get what is wrong for You. Yeah, after Note 9 I would buy Ultra series with pencil as it does is job as mouse in many internet sites, when I have enought money. And yes, considering Swedbank banking app is always bringing updates and kinda quickly needing new os I think- Iphone cheapest cost about 500€ giving about 6 years of updates and Samsung all S flagship series giving 4 years of updates cost 800 and more euros in my country.

How about decreasing amount of bloatware with iOS16?
Since iOS15.5 , apps like Translator and Notes cannot be removed anymore.
At least ipad now has option to show EXIF data finally.
Even android 2.3 had it.

Another is just s**tting on it because it has Apple logo. And 99% of comments here are just the later unfortunately. Everyone coming up with insane claims about ads like they haven't even read a single article about it where they clearly state it'll be integrated into actual usability and not just in your face ads like everyone is familiar with on Android.

Which is a level of innocent naivety so profound it’s almost adorable 😂

AnonD-1061512, 22 Aug 2022Many people are not laughing or complaining about Android phones ads in some apps or in the UI... moreLook dude, I’m not saying I’m going to be a fan of increasing advertising with iOS. The details of this are not known yet though, we have only click bait rumours at this point, which are predictably sufficient enough to encourage the usual suspects into the ‘Apple is greedy’ wailing they so love to partake in.
Apple is a multi trillion dollar, publicly traded company, In some ways they are victims of their own success. You see share holders only like to see share prices going in one direction, up. And that gets harder to do at the levels at which Apple are operating. iPhone sales are levelling out, services likely also. This is another way to promote growth, increase revenue thus investment, and raise share prices. You know business, Apple are not charity after all.
Make no mistake though, the rest are no more altruistic than Apple, they simply know the limits of their own business models. Apple are not stupid mind, they know advertising is not a popular area among consumers, so I would guess these ‘ads’ won’t take the same brazen, aesthetically bad, and numerous approach as those historically seen in Android.
We are all just going to have to wait and see though now aren’t we.
