It just would be foolish not to put more effort into education. Do they think that as long as they can live a financially prosperous life, they don't care about the future of their country? This crap happens here too but I’m furious that education has been too lightly regarded.

“マフラー (Muffler)” is also used as one of mechanical car parts here too. But マフラー is basically meaning a winter scarf here. If you say “マフラーが欲しいです。(I want a muffler)”, you will be given a winter muffler, not one of car parts.

It’ll be wonderful if all elderly people can utilize IT things, but honestly I think it’s a fantasy idea here. I have taught my grandpa how to use a PC and still can’t remember how many times I said “THIS IS THE ENTER KEY!!”. Teaching them is much tougher than you expect.
