The cultural association Arte Design Venezia open the call for artists and designers to participate in the exhibition “The transparent breath”.
An exclusive event where the most skilled international workers in the art of glass will exhibit their creations in Venice, cradle of this ancient
artisan tradition that dates back to the seventh century BC.
The location is the ancient Palazzo Nani Mocenigo now home to the Hotel Nani Mocenigo, a few steps from Le Gallerie dell’Accademia, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. The Palace, a splendid example of Venetian Gothic art of the 15th century, is set in one of the liveliest and most effervescent areas of Venice: the “Zattere” where art, history and culture coexist in a triumph of beauty and refinement without equal.
The exhibition project includes the following services:
- Exhibition event August 25th / September 25th 2022 with 1 / 3 jewels.
- Online promotion on our social channels. Publication of posts and videos
- dedicated to the artist on Instagram profile @artedesignvenezia
- Curatorial services
- Catalogue of the exhibition
- Certificate of participation
- Voice to the public award + online voting
- Photographic documentation
- Exhibition Opening
- Representation during the exhibition (promotion – sales)
- Visit to Murano | Visit to the furnace during The Venice Glass Week.
Exhibition Fee: 600 Euro Option 1 or 900 Euro Option 2
The fee is payable in two installments before the exhibition.
Application rules: artists/designers, goldsmiths and silversmiths working in the field of jewelry, sculpture who use glass for this exhibition may apply. Artist/designers present work connected to the theme of the exhibition project.
What is excluded from the fee:
– Shipping of the works to and from the Gallery
– Assurance (if you like you can ask this extra service)
– Custom expenses VAT or taxes
Number of participants: max. 20 artists/designers.
