What is a Spiritual Beast?
A piece of support equipment that can be given to a general to improve their skills.
Types of Spiritual Beasts and Buffs
There are 5 different varieties of Spiritual Beasts, each with a focus on a particular troop type.
The boost values listed below assume that you have received all possible training. (Explained later)
Thunder Scorpion – Ranged
- Ranged Troop Attack +30%
- Ranged Troop Defense +30%
- Ranged Troop HP +30%
- March Speed +30%
Bird of Hurricane – Mounted
- Mounted Troop Attack +30%
- Mounted Troop Defense +30%
- Mounted Troop HP +30%
- Double Items Drop Rate from Monsters. +15%
Lord of Lava – Ground
- Ground Troop Attack +30%
- Ground Troop Defense +30%
- Ground Troop HP +30%
- Troop Load +30%
Behemoth King – Siege
- Siege Machine Attack +30%
- Siege Machine Defense +30%
- Siege Machine HP +30%

Pegasus – Mounted, Ground

Therefore, depending on what the general is good at, you can decide which beast to assign.
How to Activate
(Pastures can be built at keep level 21.)

You can activate one at a time, depending on the level of the Pasture.
- Lv 6 – Thunder Scorpion
- Lv11 – Bird of Hurricane
- Lv16 – Lord of Lava
- Lv22 – Behemoth King
Requirement Pattern B) Unlocking Item
As for Pegasus, it can be activated even with Pasture Lv1, but requires an item called “Pegasus Spirit”.
How to get Pegasus Spirit
The Pegasus Spirit can be exchanged by collecting 400 items called the “Spiritual Beast Scale” during the event period.
How to get Spiritual Beast Scale
Spiritual Beast Scale can be obtained by hunting bosses or buying paid packages.
In case from bosses
In case from bosses, I have confirmed that they drop from normal bosses. (Lv1 zombies ~)
Double drop available.
For event bosses, they dropped from Lava Turtle, Cerberus, and Bayard, but not from Viking or Ymir, so they may not drop from some event bosses.
In addition, it seems that the limit is 42 pieces per day.
(Technically, you can get up to 43 if you double drop with 41)
In case of paid package
In case of paid package, you can get the “Spiritual Beast Scale” by opening the “Spiritual Beast Scale Box” inside.
( The quantity is random, either 10 / 20 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 400.)

- With the Pegasus Spirit obtained, press the Activate button on the Pegasus in the pasture.

How to Assign and Release the General
Press the dragon icon in the top left corner of the general’s details screen to designate a beast to that general. The beast is unassigned using the same process. Be aware that for an hour after being unassigned, the beast cannot be assigned to the general again.
Beasts are “WEAK” if you don’t train them.
The buffs right after activation are only +1-3% each.
Example: Behemoth King Lv1 Quality Gray
- Siege Machine Attack +2%
- Siege Machine Defense +2%
- Siege Machine HP +2%

Beasts need to be cultivated in two ways
- Level Up – Use Spiritual Beast EXP to raise it.
- Smelt – Upgrade Quality using Gems, Medals, Spiritual beast badges, and Gold.
In case of Level Up
In case of Smelt (Quality Up)
These can be raised in parallel and separately. Start with the easiest one to raise first.
Either way, the buffs go up 2% at a time.
(If the initial value is 1%, they go up 1% at a time.)
(If the initial value is 3%, they go up 3% at a time.)

- Lv1 Quality Green (+1) -> Attack +4%
- Lv2 Quality Ash (0) -> Attack +4%

How to get Spiritual Beast Badge
During the event, you can trade 20 “Spiritual Beast Scales” for 10 “Spiritual Beast Badges.”

Which is better, Dragon or Spiritual Beast?
If you spend 300,000 gems and raise your Pasture’s level to 26, you can activate a dragon. Dragons are also weak if they are not trained.
Dragons are superior than spiritual monsters when compared using their highest level of development.
To raise them, though, would require a lot of supplies, gems, refining stones, etc. And it would be wiser to use them first to manufacture and refine the general’s equipment, which will give out more bonuses earlier.
Therefore, it is preferable to avoid training dragons until the general’s equipment is enough instead choosing to train Spiritual Beasts and give them to the general.
The talents of Minamoto no Yoshitsune, Martinus, El Cid, Isabella I, and other characters allow them to activate their own buffs when a dragon is attached. The spiritual monsters might be handed dragons early on if they are not fully trained.
