Firstly, the author herself is shotacon. She wrote 2 shotacon manga before, black butler was planned to be one too. Even that she claims she regrets this and is a different person now she STILL continues to sexualize ciel in the manga, regardless to say her apologie is fake.

Second, the sexualization towards ciel. I respect characters having sexual traumas, yet lets not forget theres a difference between character lore and using characters for your fetishizes. She puts trauma on his lore, then sexualize him in a different scene. This.isnt.okay.

Some of those are made by studio, yet theres no difference in manga. Look at the last page right down panel, WHY would someone draw a 12 year olds behind like that.

The real world isnt a beauty, pedophilia exists. I have no anger towards people who put this at their characters lore. a minor even can oversexualize themselves due to trauma. But theres a difference between this, and fanservice. yana tobaso, a ex(!) shotacon does the second.

EXACTLY, thats what im saying? she uses normal life actions to sexualize ciel because the genre isnt shotacon. when you look at this page alone no one would thing its a corset scene.

Well, i really love this manga, and, to be honest I don't really care, I know that yana made some weird stuff, and even black butler was supposed to be a weird yaoi, but for me it's just some jokes about the fact that it was supposed to be a weird yaoi and not a super cool manga

I think what you're saying is right. I've watched all black butler animations. In book of circus there was also child obsession over ciel and in season 2 the NSFW scenes which included Alois who is a minor.
