Looks like the honeymoon is over.
On Thursday, Knoebels Amusement Resort announced a new ride to the park for the 2020 season. But in doing so, it’s getting rid of a ride that one woman, in particular, really liked.
We mean REALLY liked.
Knoebels Replacing 1001 Nacht Ride
If someone dared Amy Wolfe “If you like 1001 Nacht so much, why don’t you marry it,” she took them up on it.
In 2009, Wolfe decided to marry — that’s right, marry — the 1001 Nacht ride at Knoebels. Sadly, that’s the ride they’re dismantling to make room for a new one, called Tornado. More on that in a bit …
According to a report from UK’s The Telegraph from back in 2009, Wolfe (now Weber, changing her last name to match that of the manufacturer of the ride) rode 1001 Nacht thousands of times before deciding she just had to marry it. She first rode it at age 13.

Wolfe tells The Telegraph back in 2009, “I love him as much as women love their husbands and know we’ll be together forever. I was instantly attracted to him sexually and mentally.”
Odd? Yes. But not as uncommon as you think.
OK, it’s not like every other person you meet is going to have physical and mental attraction to inanimate objects like Wolfe (sorry, Weber) does.
Wolfe has what’s become known as objectum sexuality, true love of lifeless objects. In a report from TheProvince.com in 2009, Wolfe also revealed that she’s married to other objects, including a banister and a pipe organ.
