Smartphones in 2019 and beyond need to be THICKER -And it's not just about battery life - Let me explain. More smartphone news: https://www.youtube.com/watc...
Whenever I read or hear "slim design", "streamlined", or similar in a smartphone advertisement or product description, my inner alarms go off. It just screams "planned obsolescence" and "sacrificed utility value" at me.
Dislike counts, † November 2021.
And video categories were removed in 2020.

Features YouTube potenitally removes in future:
- “Search inside channel”: Low usage due to main search feature. Removed.
- Video categories. “Who uses them anyway?”
- Video tags. Existing tags will be deleted.
- Like/dislike counts.
As if Hyun Yeul Lee worked for YouTube,
Looks like YouTube has at some point removed the age restriction on Kony 2012 that was instated in late 2020.
Today is the tenth anniversary of the movie.
I consider smart home an extension and not a replacement to the "manual" home, since the former allows falling back in case of technical failure, whereas the latter does not.
It is like progressive enhancement in web design. "Smart home" is an enhancement, not a replacement.
So far, Microsoft appears to have made surprisingly little adverse change to GitHub.
One deterioration is that some menus use subsequent AJAX-based loading ("include-fragment") rather than HTML inclusion, but it looks like there are no major feature removals like on YouTube.
I believe that the adage "the Internet never forgets" is untrue. It forgets all the time.
Good web videos get memory-holed because, for example, uploader decides that they are "past them" or similar ambiguous emotional nonsense. Also, much of Yahoo Answers could not be rescued.
"All unlisted videos will be [made] private."
This prediction from me in 2018 about YouTube turned out to be correct within a time range: All unlisted videos dated before 2017 were switched to private in July 2021.
YouTube's explanation, as often, sounds implausible.

YouTube feature removal prediction list for the future:
- All unlisted videos will be put into private.
- Total view count of the channel will be removed.
- 80% of analytics features will be chopped off.
- “Channels” tab will be removed.
- “Search in channel” [next…]
.
I suggest you release a “KONY 2022” follow-up film on 2022-03-05, on the ten-year anniversary of KONY 2012, which is nine months and few days away.
It's difficult to grasp that #KONY2012 was aired nearly a decade ago, yet has such amazing production quality.
Thanks to Apple you can't replace the battery on your smart phone.
Thanks to Apple you also can't replace the battery on your laptop.
Thanks to Apple you can't plug a headphone on your phone.
Thanks to Apple laptops don't come with the most basic ports.
Yes, I am blaming them
Three words: 'sealed', 'lithium', and 'battery'. (Actually let's add a few more for clarity: 'destined for landfill when the non-replaceable battery wears out in a few short years'.)
Apple can boast all they like about environmental cred, but actions speak louder than words.

Not a problem. Just thought I'd take a jog through memory lane myself.
The "vs Jovi pt 2" video, I'd say is impressive. Not many people can pull 15fps of animation using hand-drawn frames from MSPaint. If I want to know the secret, I'd ask 16-year-old me.
