Additional Information
(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $122,000 - $131,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. *Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Note: Google’s hybrid workplace includes remote roles.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as an analyst, data engineer, or related role.
  • Experience with advanced SQL transforming datasets to meet business needs.
  • Experience managing production data pipelines or warehousing data (e.g., Modern Data Warehouse stacks such as dbt, Airflow, Looker, Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Snowflake).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using software engineering practices with a focus on testing, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Experience developing dashboards or performing analyses in a client-facing analyst role and collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive adoption of solutions.
  • Ability to project manage with competing priorities and apply initiative, creativity, and problem-solving to identify solutions and meet business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Within People Analytics, the Business Intelligence team performs the role of Analytics Engineers, making sure people data is available, useful, trusted, and secure. We develop and maintain Google's HR data warehouse, dashboards, and reports used by thousands of internal users across all levels of the company with an eye towards performance and code maintainability. We transform data to meet business priorities and provide the robust data foundation and consultation to enable data-driven HR.

業務内容

  • Build and maintain internal reporting pipelines and dashboards for People Operations, including troubleshooting, development, and access controls. Write advanced SQL queries, system configurations, and manage and execute project plans.
  • Design solutions and processes to translate metrics and business requirements to formats that enable quick and accurate data analysis. Interact with internal users to define requirements, socialize designs, and test solutions. 

  • Provide user support and training on team's data product portfolio. Provide limited ad hoc data for requests not served by standard dashboards or business analysts.

  • Work with analysts and engineers to help shape and drive the development and application of Google’s internal data infrastructure including warehousing, reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of the BI team’s tools, skills, culture and impact.
