I was born as a miso brewer’s son; since childhood I have been taught that miso, handed down from my ancestors, is “a good food for the body”.
This I have also come to realize, by eating miso daily.
With this feeling in mind, I came up with the slogan “miso is a Japanese treasure” and opened “a miso ramen specialty shop” to spread healthy foods and miso around the world.
Currently, we are developing "Tadokoro Shoten brands" in Japan, Brazil, the United States, Thailand, Canada, Italy, and Sri Lanka.
The impression I get each time I visit various countries and regions is that, Japanese cuisine is attracts a lot of attention from overseas people. At the same time, the dietary life of younger Japanese is increasingly being westernized.
Among others, miso is said to have various benefits, such as cancer prevention, anti-aging, skin lightening, the promotion of the excretion of radioactive substances, etc. Hence, miso’s popularity is increasing.
We hope to help with promote a delicious, enjoyable and healthy life by providing the “time” and “space” when/where you can taste Japanese food culture, including miso.
Also, we would like to be a company that can help with “preventive medicine” while also developing our “business”.
