Yep. I noticed some of the conservative threads have been overrun with salty liberals. I mean I purposely avoid their subs because I don’t need to waste my time reading comments that are not based in reality. So we avoid them and now they come here. they just can’t let people have nice things. Kind of the reason we ended up with president Biden. 😂

It's all so crazy to me.
Imagine you go back in time to the far away year of 2014. Gamer Gate is raging. The culture war is mostly just feminist articles about air conditioning and the beginnings of BLM.
An MRA goes up to a feminist and says "in only a few years, men will start entering women's competitions and start winning all of them, taking victories and opportunities away from women." When asked how these men plan to pull that off, the MRA says "the men will just say they are women, and everyone will accept it."
I can guarantee you the feminist would scoff at the idea, think it's implausible, and call such a plan misogynistic.
All that work promoting women, down the drain. How did they fall for it?

It is very troublesome. Even at the corporate levels, they are forcing everyone to take this inclusivity training which includes all their woke ideologies or else you can be taken down for harassment. I can only hope that this trend ends up eating itself over time.

Ok, I’m sure my opinion might not be welcome, but I am someone who has experienced work place harassment. Sometimes I think the issue is that some people don’t understand what behavior or language is inappropriate or offensive, and so this type of training helps people understand why to refrain from certain language or actions that might not be welcomed or accepted as appropriate.
My main question, is why is there resistance to accommodate language or actions that make people feel safe and comfortable in a public space?
I do also want to note that I am not trying to antagonize, I just often hear this argument, and I don’t understand the resistance to alter speech to accommodate others if they are saying it offends them. I am genuinely asking! I’m trying to understand different arguments more.

A real-world example would be the GMC (Global Methodist Church) and the UMC (United Methodist Church) splitting over woke beliefs being pushed on the UMC (Such as pushing for same sex marriages and the ordination of openly gay clergy) as well as a few members in the UMC itself I believe, They literally tried forcing their way in and start changing things and got surprise when the traditional Christians split to form the GMC.

Real world examples are very liberal businesses trying to cater to the Diversity and Inclusion crowd until they are run out of business.
A coffee shop in Seattle that was lesbian/gay owned, and some other sort of business on the other coast comes to mind related to communes.
Essentially people start business A. They want to be inclusive. Eventually the staff say it's not woke enough because of X, Y, and Z. The owners bend over backwards to try to "work" with them. Eventually the request is that they relinquish ownership of the establishment and "transfer" it to the workers because they "deserve" it.
The place end sup shutting down.
