On July 20th, 2022 Mojang decided to, without warning, outright ban all integrations of blockchain technology and NFTs within Minecraft. This decision completely disrupted emerging Web3 based game platforms built on top of it, like NFT Worlds.

While the problems that exist with blockchain are obvious and need to be solved, we should not fear the unknown and resist change because of problems that exist today. We need to fix the problems to change the world
