What is the initial velocity and power of this gun in numbers?

It depends on the mixture, how compacted it is, and projectile. Some videos I have seen, it can get upwards of 1500 fps, but it's more common in the 1000 fps range.

Please don't. Similar weapons have been built around the world, and it's not uncommon for them to explode on the user. Forgotten Weapons has a video on similar contraptions built in Zimbabwe.
