All because I was late. She said that I was a burden, said that she wished the mental hospital would keep me, she called me a bitch, she yelled at me to sit down, she started complaining because I was crying, and she told me to fix my face when I started loudly sobbing. After that I think I need to have a few drinks. I don't trust her anymore. I'm just gonna drink a few beers and then go to fucking bed because I'm over it.
im gonna be the one to say it
you need to stop doing stupid shit like drinking
it turns everything into everyone else's problem and they wont want to help you
there are medicines that can and WILL work for these things
i dont wanna hear the "meds just fucked me up even more" excuse from anyone
because i guarantee you didnt give more than 4 different kinds a chance
nobody can help you if you dont help yourself
if you dont take the initiative to be like "im not gonna live like this"
then you will have no one to blame but yourself in the end
it doesnt matter what mental illness you have
it doesnt matter what physical disability you have
only you can take the first step
ok I'm going to have to intervene here, first off fuck what @DrunkGecko said obviously he don't know what he's talking about with the meds shit. Drinking won't help your problems. they will only add to the mess. Neither is popping a pill going to solve all your problems. We are not living in some type of fantasy here. There are real serious consequences if you take medication unnecessarily. try to go to therapy and discuss it with your therapist and they can direct you to a better solution. If there are trust issues try online anonymous therapy or a different therapist. Nobody should be treated like that. You need to speak up and address your situation assertively without being self destructive.
Also you need to try to take charge of your life and do the right thing. Get better grades, get a job if you're old enough and do everything that you need to do to get your own place where you're in charge and you can GTFO of your situation. Nobody is going to hold your hand and give you everything. You need to take it for yourself. And as for her calling you a Bitch....tell her to stop projecting what she is on to other people and to stop being bitter about her thighs.
Sorry for trying to help
Next time I'll just let the kid suffer
Suffer? telling the kid to take psych meds unnecessarily could ruin the kid's life if not kill him. Popping a pill won't change an abusive situation. Speaking up and confronting the situation to find a solution or an alternative with someone who can help him is what he needs to do. Drugs don't make miracles.
im not a doctor and i highly doubt you are. i never claimed i was a doctor. i just made a suggestion to help them. and you and seth get pissed because medicine didnt work for you guys so you assume it works for nobody. when medicine is different for literally everyone. im not about to sit here and argue with a stranger about medicine. at the end of the day, until you show me your medical license, your stance on it is just as invalid as mine. only in this day and age would people react like assholes to someone trying to help a kid. thats all i have to say. you can respond if you want. i dont really care
Hey look, I'm not the asshole telling the dude to take reckless actions with medicine with "ThErEs MeDiCiNeS tHaT WiLl HeLp" overly bold claim. If you was actually trying to help him, you would direct him to someone who IS a doctor and he/she could make that determination. He doesn't need my stance since the other certified individual hopefully that he can trust, can direct him to the right direction on how to address the situation. You going to claim that there is "MeDiCiNeS tHat WiLl HeLp" to creutzfeldt–jakob disease next? How about Huntington's disease? Are you going to take clinical doses of Oxycodone for a mild sinus headache? Medicine is the last resort when traditional means are unsuccessful. Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors like Zoloft can cause irregularities to the absorption of serotonin between the brain’s neurotransmitters when taken unnecessarily thus causing symptoms like seizures, paralysis, Hallucinations, acute changes of blood pressure and possibly death in excessive amounts.
If you don't know what your talking about its better to stay in your lane rather than add fuel to the situation. Good intentions but terrible execution.

"The best intentions can result in the worst consequences."
I agree here. Let a professional handle this, but one with an unbiased opinion.
Also, @DrunkGecko, I don't knock you for trying to help, but mental health, even among professionals, is not well understood, even in this day and age. You can't just blurt out to someone to shovel pills down their gullet to solve their problems. They're not magic. They alter brain chemistry, and this can tilt either toward correcting something that is off-balance that is causing negative feelings or toward destroying brain chemistry that needed no adjustment, leaving a person forever altered, never to be the same. You know, as it was for me, and every time I see the possibility of it happening to someone else, I die a little more on the inside.
I'm a firm believer that the situations requiring medication are far fewer than the number of people having psychotropic medications prescribed to them.
Also, DG, no hard feelings here, okay?
