FYI if you live in a country that just approved obselete SARS-CoV-2 vaccines to 0.5-4 year olds ⤵️ Director of the Danish Health Authority @SSTbrostrom: vaccinating children (5-15 year olds) in fall was a *mistake*, would not have made the decision today nyheder.tv2.dk/samfund/2022-0

The reason he says it was a mistake was that it was used (and oversold) as a tool to reduce infection (as kids rarely get sick) but did not work as assumed against omicron. The effect was very small (test-corrected incidences)⬇️. 🇩🇰 opened Feb 1 near top. twitter.com/KasperKepp/sta

Desuden for 12+. dr.dk/drtv/se/tv-avi 28:50

did he say it was a mistake or was he just sort of reflecting that there wasn't really much achieved by vaccinating kids and perhaps it was a waste of resources? trying to understand better. tak!

It is refreshing that public officials in other jurisdictions can admit their errors and direct their efforts towards serving the public, rather than doubling down and stubbornly refusing to acknowledge realities that are now clear to anyone with an ounce of objectivity.

So what you're saying is that those of us without a medical degree who have been saying this since the beginning are more intelligent than those with degrees running health departments? Proving common sense is greater than that piece of paper on the wall.

Hope springs eternal:"But what we must hold onto is there has been no damage from it. It was more of a misinterpretation of the situation, which we among professionals will discuss for a long time.We have become wiser, and we would not do the same today, says Søren Brostrøm💉💉💉
How come so many of us lay people without advanced, specialized degrees knew this from the beginning. Maybe because of the 99.9% survival rate? Maybe because no one around us was dying? Maybe because we have learned not to trust the so called experts? Day late and a Kroner short.
