[Important]
(1) We are pleased to announce that the conference will be held in a hybrid form (in-person and online).
(2) The early-bird payment period is extended to June 25 (23:59 JST).

We are overwhelmed by the number of registrations. We have over 1000 completed registrations and
are expecting more applicants.
Due to the high volume of demands, we are extending the early-bird registration deal.
(3) We accept
last-minute contributions to the poster presentations until
June 25 (23:59 JST).

Reminder: Please note that presentations (of both talks and posters) will be cancelled unless the
payment of registration fees is completed by
July 18 (23:59 JST).
(4) Entry to Japan
While the Japanese government is gradually relaxing the entry policy to Japan,
a visa is still required for every entry by non-Japanese.
As previously announced, the LT29 organization itself cannot host visa
acquisition of the participants for technical reasons.
Some of the LT29 organizing committee members are individually hosting plenary, half plenary
and invited speakers but the capacity is very limited. We have been made aware that
a large number of participants are expressing their willingness to participate on-site.
We are currently looking for other possible ways to support the visa
acquisitions for the LT29.
We will keep you updated through this Web site.

The 29th International Conference on Low Temperature Physics, LT29,
was postponed by two years due to the pandemic.
Now the activities towards the LT29 conference to be held on August 18 to 24, 2022
have been restarted.
We are happy to inform you that the conference will be held hybrid:
while realizing long-waited onsite programs under utmost care for the safety of the participants,
we are preparing reasonable online accessibility for global participants.
Sincerely yours,
