Option: Transfer frozen bacterial bark bites (trademark pending) directly to beaker, then add buffer. Less loss in transfer steps, maybe?

Definitely. you can also kind of fold the bag like a toothpaste tube if needed.
I always joke about it being like peanut brittle!

When do you add the buffer and vortex/mix? Before you freeze the pellet or after you get it out of the bag before sonication? Sorry, I don’t get it
