Tokyo Chapter is honored to be featured and celebrated as the 2021 Community Challenge Winner by HBS Professor Luis Viceira, senior associate dean for HBS Online and Executive Education at the opening remarks of HBS Online annual conference, Connext on Saturday, May 14 (ET) which was hosted its first-ever hybrid conference, where 132 countries represented at HBS campus and virtual conference:

Tokyo Chapter has been contributed this HBS Online Community Challenge global project since its launch in 2019 and is honored to be selected as the 2021 Community Challenge Winner, following Finalist in 2020.

At the Connext 2022 conference, Tokyo Chapter also had the community presentation with those rich experiences by hard works with passion to contribute to HBS.


Now 2022 Community Challenge project is open and Tokyo chapter is calling for volunteer participants of this advanced learning project.

This year we welcome more creative, fun, talent-developed approach to enjoy the community, if we can.

Now Tokyo Chapter, we are calling for volunteer contributors and volunteer project team leader:

1: 2022 Community Challenge volunteer participants/contributors

Tokyo chapter, we welcome active contributors partially and/or wholly to contribute to the better team performance to co-create the best plan for Empowered to Educate in line with expectations of HBS Online.

We also welcome participants outside Japan in Asia Pacific, for those who are interested in this project but you could not find your local HBS Online chapter nearby. Especially it is recommended for learners of Sustainable Business Strategy course and/or young consultants to continue developing your skills and learning through this project.

Volunteer participants/contributers are open to public, so you can invite your friends and colleagues if you like.

We also welcome past contributors of Community Challenge as well as new participants.

HBS Online Community Challenge has been carried out since 2019.

From our last experiences, you might find such characteristics from this project:

- Be able to meet good diverse talents with good purpose and mind

- Join the advanced, enrichment experience and to show your talents to the team and HBS Online through creating proposals.

- Not only for showing your professional, expertise experiences and skills but also having a chance to try to develop your new skills on the project. (Including design skills of proposals, if you like.)

We Tokyo Chapter welcome active contributors for team than passive learners on the Community Challenge and have the good behavior to respect other diverse team members to have the safe, creative, fun place for all of the members. 


2: 2022 Community Challenge volunteer project team leader(s)

Eligibility:

1) HBS Online certificate holder

2) Have good sense of inclusion diversity and servant leadership

3) Good at time management, from team building, have brainstorm and develop a solution that will help Empowered to Educate achieve its goals and to leading team to create a presentation that outlines how the solution could impact Empowered to Educate and our community. Due date by August 8, 2022.

Recommendation:

Experience on past community challenge(s) (2020 and/or 2021) with understanding the general process will make much easier to lead the team.

The way of the project process will be creative, flexible and depended on the new project leader for good team building. Organizers will also support you, such as creating website to announce and set the team meeting, if needed.

It’s a precious opportunity to lead the diverse talented team to contribute to the HBS Online key global project.

1: Orientation of the process of Community Challenge briefly.
