Mr. & Mrs. Johnny Kwan
(Margaret). It was a birth-
day banquet party given in
observance of Johnny's 70th
birthday and Margaret's 60th
birthday, hosted by their
children, Mr. & Mrs. Gene
Kwan, Mr. & Mrs. Larry Kwan,
Mr, & Mrs. Ken Woo and Mr. &
Mrs. Kenneth Chi. Mrs.
Margaret Kwan is related to
the popular Bill Quans and
the personable Tommy Lighs.
Visitors to the birthday
party came from Pittsburgh,
Pa., Cleveland, Ohio, Au-
gusta, Georgia, and San
Antonio, Tx.

brated the marriage of bride
Thi Chiau to groom Hang Due
at Golden Bo Restaurant the
evening of December 26th.
The wedding was held earlier
at the Gethsemane Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod, 4040
Watonga, with the Reverend
Joel Kettner officiating.
Present at the ceremony
were the father of the groom,
Hang Gon Quang, and the
mother of the bride, Thi La
Hue Anh. Following the
ceremony was a reception at
the home of Thi Ngoc Chau,
Hang Due Tho, and Thi Gia
Phuoc, 4211 Sherwood.

W. Yee, son of Mr. & Mrs.
Lewis Yee, was engaged to
Mary Kwong, daughter of
Mr. & Mrs. Edward Kwong.

Lims' Red Egg Party
Drs. John and Lyna Kit Lee Lim celebrated on December 6,
at Yit Ing Ho Restaurant, along with 250 relatives and
guests, the arrival of their baby Johnathan Henry, named
in honor of his father and maternal grandfather .
Joining Henry Lee (a member of the board of directors of
the Southwest Chinese Journal) and wife Kitty as proud
grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ott H. Lim, owners of
Happy Theatre.
Emcee for the occasion was Tommy Lee who introduced both
sides of the family including the paternal great-grand-
father and the maternal great-grandmother, both 84 years
young.
Dr. John Lim completes in six months his medical degree
in San Antonio and will be associated with St. Joseph
Hospital in Houston this summer.
