Hi there, please note that we haven’t made any blurring changes to our satellite imagery in Russia.
Why the fuck not! Make them even higher resolution then!

What would that change, like realistically what does it change ? Nothing countries already have high res maps of Russia and Russia of US.

Man, it really exposes the motivation of some of the OSINT folks when these situations occur.
A correction or mea culpa won't drum up nearly the engagement that a big, sweeping (and ultimately false) statement does. Google Maps debunked this hours ago.

Hi , thank for clarifying! I couldn't recall having seen any blurring before indeed.
Could you, though, find a higher resolution optical-imaging satelite-pass of Russia's Strategic Nuclear War Command center at:
" mount Yamantau "
Asking for a friend.

Having a "tourist" visit these two nuclear warhead storage facilities near 'Park Patriot' west of Moscow, used for the warheads of the mobile ICBM launchers around the may 9th parade, when they're filled, to cause a 'fire due to a storm' wouldn't be weird either, .

What does that even mean? If you haven’t made any changes, were or are any Russian images blurred or not?

It means the original poster is making stuff up for likes

What about your aerial photographs? Specifying "satellite" makes this sound like a deceptive dodge.

Most of the images over Russia are satellite, so I don’t think they need to blur non-existent aerial photos

I'd buy you a Snickers (not that you couldn't just buy Mars if you wanted a Snickers) if you would just blur out all of Russia.
.
"we haven’t made any blurring changes"
Read:
"Images within Russia that were previously blurred remain blurred
Images within Russia that were not previously blurred remain not blurred"
You've said exactly nothing
Not surprised in the least

They were pretty specific?

We know, he just upgraded his kit from VGA to 4K and it's all new to him.

Does this mean that they were /always/ unblurred, and nobody had simply been looking at them until now?

That's the obvious deduction from the statement.
Though I wouldn't say "no one ever looked at them before." Just "they were never newsworthy before"

Great! Now I’ll be doing THAT all day! (By the way, always interesting to prowl around Bandar Abbas-- I’m just saying)
