Good music. This is a song which I think is sometimes called "I Wish I Was in Dixie". This version of the song does not really have vocals.

This celluloid 2-minute cylinder was made by the International Phonograph Company in England and was one of the first Edison compatible non-Lambert celluloid cylinders to hit the market. They were all black and would usually have a white plaster core and two brass metal rings inside on each end. Few of them would not have plaster of...

The Cylinder Archive [ www.cylinder.de ] release for March 2014: Aside from the Lambert Company, the Britain based Indestructible Phonograph Co. was one of the early adopters of using celluloid for manufacturing cylinders. This ca. 1904 recording has a quite strong volume. Too bad, that names of the recorded performers are given rarely.
