While renewables are without a doubt a massive win for the environment and for wildlife, improved monitoring can help to evaluate, and minimize, the hyperlocal impacts of these technologies

And biodiversity preservation is one of the non-carbon cobenefits of many nature-based solutions. Technologies like passive acoustics, camera trapping, and eDNA among others can help to evaluate the scope of those cobenefits.
