I am excited to present a new permanent position as an IT Project Manager ( Business Intelligence) to join my well-known, renowned client. The position will be hybrid , requiring three days remote and two days on-site in Oxfordshire . My client is offering a salary of up to £75,000 per year, with an £8,900 car allowance as one of their numerous perks. My client has the sense of an IT startup, with the opportunity to create projects from the ground up with a rapidly growing staff, despite being well established.
The Business Intelligence Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful delivery of the Power BI Business Intelligence projects and ensuring the PowerBI Business Intelligence systems and solutions are stable, reliable and well supported. This role will ensure:
- The administration of the Commercial Intelligence area in such a way that projects, ongoing development, and support are completed on time, on budget, and with the expected level of business advantage
- Project teams with a high level of structure, adequate governance, and adherence to formal frameworks (in a way that is aligned to teams agile way of working)
- The financial performance of the project, as well as its risks and difficulties, are continuously evaluated and shared to IT and business management.
Key responsibilities:
- Define the project, resources, and budget, including (if needed):
- Assist with the creation of a strategic plan for delivering IT and business change.
- Manage the demand, prioritisation, and expectations of the business.
- Convert business requirements into well-defined projects and deliverables.
- In the PowerBI Business Intelligence portfolio, be the technology partner for business.
Essential Skills:
- Agile / Scrum methodologies certification
- Extensive knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecycle
- A thorough knowledge of cyber security and system support is required.
- Exposure to data standards, ideas, and best practises in data governance
- Salesforce, Oracle Financials, SAP SuccessFactors, MRI Software, Planon, and the Microsoft BI stack are all things you should know about.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 of those years spent leading major business change initiatives.
- Able to demonstrate project management experience
- Qualifications in project management
- A deep awareness of all areas of project management, as well as the ability to explain and instruct people to carry out these tasks.
- Projects involving data warehouses or similar data projects
- Experience managing PowerBI / Business Intelligence projects is required.
