Thousand Edge is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the evolution of Knife, requiring Bracer.

Thousand Edge shoots a stream of never-ending knife projectiles that is fired in the direction the player is moving or last moved. It shoots three times faster than its predecessor with a sizable increase to Projectile Speed. It is capable of dealing critical hits.

Tips[]

  • Thousand Edge does not benefit from Duration bonuses.
  • Thousand Edge will be thrown very quickly, almost like a stream. Additional projectiles from Amount will be fired each volley. Even if each volley last longer than the Cooldown, it does not prevent another volley to start shooting. Pool Limit is the only reason there is not more projectiles on screen. Projectile Speed increase can make less projectiles stay on screen.
  • While playing with the keyboard, the player will only be able to fire in eight directions: the cardinals, and the diagonal directions in between. When playing with the mouse, however, the player will be able to fire with a full 360 degrees of motion, because of the nature of the joystick controls.
  • No matter how you control, Thousand Edge is one of the best options to keep enemies at bay in the whole game because of its ability to direct projectiles, its unlimited range, and its high Amount and low Cooldown. Additionally, the knives are fired so fast that almost every enemy in the game can be held completely at bay by knockback.

Trivia[]

  • Thousand Edge's name in the codes is "Thousand".
  • This weapon is inspired by the Item Crash of the dagger sub-weapon from the Castlevania series. It is usually throwing a large number of daggers continuously just like the weapon.
