Are you fapping tonight!? Once again, I'm AV comedian Revolver Head.
For this interview, I had the pleasure of interviewing active legendary actor Masahiro Tabuchi, who has appeared in more than 10,000 videos and performed with more than 9,000 actresses!

I read Tabuchi's book 48 Sex Positions for Adults and found it very interesting, so I will be asking him in detail as to what real sex is, based on this book. Please read it all the way through! [Part 1 of 3]

It all started when my mother kept telling me "Your dick is small" (laughs).

Revolver Head: Nice to meet you! My name is Revolver Head and I'm an AV comedian. Today I am honoured just to meet you, Tabuchi-san, whom I have always respected and admired!

Masahiro Tabuchi: Nice to meet you. Your words make me happy. Revolver-san has written about me on Twitter several times and for the longest time I've been curious about you, thinking, "He seems like a nice person. Who could he be?" so I'm glad to meet you too.

I'm so happy to be able to say that to an actor I've watched and admired for so long that I feel like crying...! This is a personal request, but may I have your autograph…?

Of course it's okay! Oh, I see you bought 48 Sex Positions for Adults.

Yes! I'm reading it as a textbook on life!

I'm glad to hear that (laughs)!

(The autograph I received. I'll display it as a family heirloom)

This signature looks like it resembles something, doesn't it (laughs)? The way it's written it looks like something. The top is a turtle head, the bottom is a ball!

So that's the meaning behind it! Now that you've said it, that's the only thing I can see it as.

Would it be fine to talk about 48 Sex Positions for Adults, today?

Yes, please do! The first thing that surprised me when I read the book was that you were originally an extremely average person, with a weak, shy personality and a small penis, is that right?

Yes, it is. I've been an actor for so long that you might think, "He's a naturally strong guy who's been a stallion since his youth, loves sex and has pleased women practically every night", but that's not the case at all.

It's surprising because it's so different from the Tabuchi I always see in films who seems so imposing.

That's fiction, so I must be doing it well (laughs). Even after I became a male actor, I was still a bundle of complexes.

What was it like on set?

I'd become exhausted after a single ejaculation, I'd get yelled at by the director, I'd always be shaking and trembling while doing it, and every day was so hard that I was constantly thinking about quitting.

So that's how it was. It's amazing that you went from there to being known as a legendary actor.

But I am really grateful that I was weak. If I had been someone capable from the beginning, I wouldn't have known how it feels to be weak.
Since I understood how to lift up someone like me, who was petty and had a small penis, I want others to know, and I want to tell about it!

In your book, you write, "Such adversity made me think about what I could do to be above average".

Right. Well, it all started when my mother kept telling me, "Your dick is small" (laughs).

Your mother said that to you!?

After becoming an adult, I realised that my mother was weird. She was always telling me that I was small compared to my brother (laughs).

That's not something you tell your child (laughs).

But as I was going to school, from elementary through high school, I saw those around me at the swimming pool, and since mine was indeed small, I thought just as my mom says, I've got a small one. I entered the industry in that frame of mind, so I was always wondering, "Am I good enough?"

Since then, having won the Best Actor Award in the industry's top magazine, you've become known as a legendary actor, and you are still active as one of the industry's veteran actors. What does your book, 48 Sex Positions for Adults mean to you, Tabuchi?

Through this book I want everyone to know about real sex. That's why in this book I've eliminated and exposed the staging, and included every single sex method I've cultivated up to now. I think it's fair to say that I'm telling you about my professional life itself.

Your 48 Positions is a practiced, quick-acting method which you developed from repeatedly getting into tough situations, and having failures on set, and the evidence is you, yourself, isn't it?

That's right. I wanted middle-aged and older people to "enjoy the most pleasurable sex once again", which is what inspired me to bring 48 Sex Positions for Adults to the world.

In the first chapter you talk about foreplay. What do you think about the differences between the foreplay seen in AV and real foreplay?

What a great question! That's the most important thing. To begin with, the work we do has a fixed time limit, so the sex time is overwhelmingly short.

That means if it's 40 minutes in length, you have to keep it within that time.

Right. I calculate the time backwards in my mind, so unless I speed through the fingering foreplay, which I'd honestly like to spend 20 minutes on, and do it in only a few minutes, I won't be able to make it in time.

You have to keep up with the schedule.

When you're a veteran, you're able to follow the schedule to the minute, but in actuality you have to spend several times as much on everything.

So the length of foreplay in AV is totally not enough.

Even more precisely, you also need to talk with her even before foreplay. If you suddenly start with foreplay, a woman's body will not accept you. You need at least half an hour to lay around leisurely talking together.

I thought it was normal to start with foreplay, but women need something even before foreplay?

Yes. Men tend to think they have the same system as women, so there's come to be a misalignment.

So, with this in mind, the foreplay shown in AV basically shouldn't be used as a reference.

It's totally full of holes (laughs). You'd be hated if you did. You may feel like, "Why would you say that when you're the one making it?", but all I can say is, "We're just doing what we're hired to do."

I've been watching AV as if it were a textbook, so I've lived life totally imitating the foreplay... (laughs).

This is what happens when directors and producers who've never experienced being popular, go ahead and make films with a cartoon-like storyline, without knowing what proper sex is. I'm just like, 'tsk tsk' and go along with them, because I'm getting paid (laughs). Even after the sex is over, you still need to spend about half an hour talking together.

So you're saying that communication is extremely important.

That's right. But men are lacking when it comes to the ability to make small talk. Many of them can't even talk about things as natural and simple as, "The weather is nice today" or "That film looks interesting." Women love to chitchat, and they warm up by doing this.

You know, I'm married, and my wife loves to chitchat and does it all the time. If you were to ask me, however, I'm definitely not good at it.

Women are creatures who can't ignite quickly like men do, which is why they chitchat for about half an hour to gradually get ready.

I see. But what should you do if you're at maximum horniness and you don't have the confidence to make small talk for half an hour?

Of course I understand that feeling. If you absolutely can't hold back, as a last resort you have the option of planning on doing it twice. After the first time, properly talk with one another, and then do it again.

Talk dirty in a "Super Whispery Voice"

When talking together, should you verbally tease her in a "super whispery voice, that may or may not be heard"?

In AV, you have to speak clearly because if you don't, you'll get yelled at because the sound doesn't come across, but you should never imitate that in bed because it would ruin the mood. When you're just talking together, if you whisper into her ear in a super whispery voice at a volume that she may or may not be able to hear, she'll be able to feel the vibrations and it'll make her spine tingle.

So we shouldn't imitate the verbal teasing in AV, either… (laughs).

Don't make any sound. You should just express vibrations or a sense of groove as though it were music.

It seems as though you're conveying an atmosphere or an ambience.

And, the worst thing to do is ask questions like, "Where does it feel good?" It's a pain to have to use your brain to answer them. Just use words that make the other person feel good, like "You're cute" or "You're pretty".

Even normally, it's annoying when people come after you with questions, so if it happens during sex, it'll ruin the mood.

But it is okay to inquire about how she's feeling. When you're touching or licking her, it's okay to just check that she's fine with the intensity. Like, "This much? How is it?"

Increase Empathy by Parroting Back

You write that you can explore a woman's desires by reciprocating what she has done for you even without talking with her.

One of the communication skills that women possess is empathy. Women are beings who want to be heard, like, "Yes, I know. I understand. It was tough, wasn't it?" But men try to give answers right away. Women don't want that at all.

Indeed, I have a habit of trying to give answers right away too…

That's why parroting back what your partner says is effective. Because this is a form of empathy. Applying it to sex, if your partner teases your ass, it means she wants you to tease her ass, if she lightly bites your nipple, it means she wants you to lightly bite her nipple.

I see. So by being on the receiving end and doing the same things that were done to you, you can see the desires and sexual zones of the other person?

Once in a while there's someone who's different, and about 5% of people will claw at you or bite your neck. This means she's a total masochist who wants you to do that to her (laughs).

This is the first part of the interview with active legendary actor Masahiro Tabuchi, based on his book 48 Sex Positions for Adults!

I've watched more than three porn movies a day and I totally imitated the actors' foreplay... Looking back on my life, I was not popular at all, so reading 48 Sex Positions for Adults convinced me (laughs).

In the second part of the interview, we hear more about the second chapter, "Real Sex"!
